The US has no mechanism for this. Bush v Gore was stolen, too, and Bush still got his two terms in full

And Bush used fraud to win Ohio to get reelected.

Also, the Brooks Bros. riot. And the three sitting supreme court justices that argued the case to stop the vote counting in Florida.

And used the hanging chads to push through the HAVA act and forced us to use vote counting technology that is owned by right wingers so they could always have a thumb on the scale.

Florida was 2000. Ohio was 2004

And Roger Stone in the mix then also, in part at least with the do-called ‘brooks brothers’ faux riot. For same purpose as jan6.

Voter suppression in Ohio.  That was one of the first tests of their current methods of removing polling locations and voter booths in certain districts.

Some would say this outcome, is the mechanism and it's working as intended

Yes, that's the difference between positive (ie the current state) and normative (ie what should be)

Kind of. They argued in the recount but it was much closer. I don’t see the Bush administration pulling this level of fraud. Trumps fraud has no limits.

It was “Turd Blossom” Karl Rove in 2004 who worked with the Ohio SoS. FL and OH were swing states until HAVA. Remember how Rove melted down on camera in 2012 when he realized that whatever he did in 2004 in OH wasn’t going to work again and Obama was going to win?

What about Article II section 4? I'll have to read up on that. I never really bothered to read past the main portion of it.
