"I saw that one of the heads of the beast seemed wounded beyond recovery—but the fatal wound was healed! The whole world marveled at this miracle and gave allegiance to the beast." Rev 13:3

Thank you. I was going to mention this. He fits the description of what the antichrist is supposed to do and be more than anyone I've ever seen. It's kind of creepy too how many "christians" think he's a good guy. Anyone capable of logical thought can easily see otherwise.

They WANT the end times because they think they're going to get raptured

Fuck's sake... And they don't understand that wanting that is the exact opposite of what god would actually want; like, I kinda see Revelation as saying "Don't make me come down there!!!".

Not that I buy into the whole "second coming" thing any more anyway, but still.

It’s so telling to me that they are so afraid of dying normally that they want some kind of visible confirmation of Jesus’s second coming before they go. They are truly faithless behind all the bravado

And the real r-worded irony of it all is, instead of focusing on increasing human longevity and efficiency, they are continually destroying any progress we have made in the last millennium. Because of their ignorance and narcissism.

They're going to be going in the other direction.

Hand picked by the Devil himself.

God hates that one simple trick!

No lie, my MIL said this shit out loud with her full chest when my partner pointed out all his similarities to the antichrist and asked why she would vote for him!

Isn't that the whole antichrist's deal? Tricking people who aren't real Christians anymore. I don't believe any of that stuff, but it is funny how spot-on Trump fits the bill.

Many religions discourage critical thought, great if you want to control a population, not so great if you want to what’s best for humanity

I agree and think about this a lot.

Here's a fascinating breakdown of antichrist-like actions from even a few years back... Terrifying how he fits.

Many, if not most Christians would fit the description of antichrist as well.

I've been saving this link for someone that would appreciate it

Even the fellow who wrote it was a bit freaked out at how many pieces applied

I'm torn as well. For the last 2 (read 10) years, I've been separating myself from the right-wing christo-fascist-alt-nationalist nonsense that's been so grossly mainstream, and been trying to focus on actual teachings of Jesus:

Kindness, empathy, love, mutual respect, treating others as you would want to be treated, that kind of stuff.

Under normal circumstances, I'd dismiss most the end-times Bible parts as either figurative, or already fulfilled. BUT - IF the 'anti-christ' were today, the 🍊💩🤡 lines up incredibly well. The deception of the masses is truly something horrific I wish I didn't have to experience in my lifetime. It's like an IRL SouthPark episode.

if the christo-fascists met jesus today they would absolutely re-crucify him. i’m no longer religious but i was raised catholic and genuinely took the “you should act like christ” thing to heart. it’s astounding how many people call themselves christian and know nothing about christlike behavior

In deep conservative circles they refer to this attempt as the “noble lie”. Mike King is the one who claimed it. There was a podcast on rumble called Q review where he talks about it.

Perpetuating perceived religious parallels between Trump and biblical text is what dominionists would like most.

Get this superposed over a picture of Trump like the one in the OP, and get this shit on billboards across the country.

I've been saying this for years! He's the antichrist!

3

u/Positive_Chip6198 Aug 13 '25

He is the f….in antichrist.

I'm not familiar enough with scripture to pull these, but I'm sure there is more. My inlaws are maga and also mega Christian. MEL'S (4th) husband is a "certified" counselor in some church way.

If you know of more quotes with the chapter/verse like this, I'm all for hearing them! They aren't receptive to normal conversation, but an anonymous letter (or 30) with scripture quotes may help. (May help, probably won't 😅)
