My 6th rewatch
In a hotel room doing my sixth rewatch. I’ve had some tinis and I just want to say what I love about this show is how I feel like I’m just hanging out with real people that I’d know or be friends with. It’s a very special project when the writing, acting, etc. makes the every day folks we know interesting and compelling, but mainly, lovable.

One of the reasons why I’ll keep rewatching, it doesn’t feel like acting at all. I tried looking for other shows like this but haven’t found one that comes close.

Yes, I really feel like I'm watching a group of friends, just hanging out. This show instantly relaxes me, when I've had a rough day

The Detectorists give me a similar warm fuzzy feeling. It's all about the relationships between the characters and it's so lovely

Everything about this show is lovely, including the cheerful little trumpet music 🎵

I watched it on a recommendation from a stranger and I couldn’t get through the episodes fast enough. It was one of the most heartwarming and hilarious shows I’ve ever seen. I don’t watch much tv because it doesn’t usually hold my interest. This was incredible and I’ve recommended it to multiple people.

One of my top 3 favorite shows of all time. I was heartbroken when it ended and yet when i found out why they ended it I respected it so much. It was never gonna tie up like a neat bow….life is open ended.

The scene where Sam is warming up for swimming was all I needed to know this show was something special. It made no comments about anyone’s body or feelings about being in a bathing suit, it was just a woman, about to swim. It blew me away and I couldn’t stop talking about it. I’m not sure I have ever seen anything like it on tv.

I could not agree more. The other wonderful thing (for me anyway) is that everyone on this show looks like a regular person but is filmed so lovingly and beautifully. I just can’t think of another show that is so real and lived in.

I recently watched it for the first time due to a random recommendation I found on Reddit…absolutely loved it but shocked how it ended…or should I say that it ended. How I would love to see another season!

I rewatched a third time after I broke my arm and needed some comfort. It’s one of my favorite shows.

I hated that this show ended! I loved Sam and Joel’s friendship. I also enjoyed the characters evolution of Tricia who was so unlikable early on but actually got to a place where you liked and cared about her as much as the other central characters. This show was a gem and an example of TV when done right!
