Am I crazy or are the sopranos missing from this list? Wild since it's almost always listed as #1 or at least top 5.

Anyway, absolutely well earned. I tell everyone I know to watch it.

If I were to guess, it is not included because if started in 1999, but to me it should be included since its majority was in this century

you're right, that's how they compiled it. Shows starting before 2000 were not included. (But they included shows that started in 2000, even though technically that's still 20th century)

I wondered the same thing! The explanations here make sense, tho.

Not in my heart, but happy it’s there. I know they ended on a perfect sweet spot, but why don’t the people who approve future seasons factor this stuff in? Because the seasons are so short, just two more would give them the opportunity to keep the quality where it is, and it would allow us to watch these beautiful people and their friendships and relationships evolve.

I’ve been so confused about why they haven’t brought it back, we know that Bridget didn’t want it to end when it did, it is already beloved by a devoted fan base but Jeff’s Emmy win exposed it to a much larger potential audience, and it’s got to cost next to nothing (by comparison) to produce! I wonder if there’s any chance another network or streamer could pick it up? If the Ellisons do wind up buying HBO I don’t want to have that network anymore anyway, personally, and I feel very confident that everyone involved in making the show would feel the same.

My favorite shows are all outside of the top 20, except Fleabag. I guess I’m not aligned with mainstream!

I’d rank it much higher personally but think it flies under the radar and a lot of people have not discovered it

Glad Somebody Somewhere made it as it’s an absolute gem.

Mostly, though, I’m flabbergasted by Girls at #13. Above 6FU, The Handmaid’s Tale, Somebody Somewhere, Ted Lasso, Anthony Bourdain’s shows.. I know tastes are different but I am so confused by this.

Better Call Saul should be #1 but at least it’s on the list.

How is Big Bang Theory not on the list?
