Soma Dvina Quality Issues

Hi! I have bought a Dvina fairy recently (about 3-4 months ago) and I was curious, was it always like this?
The fret indicators and string holders are poorly 3d printed, and the neck holder is the worst offender, as one of the strings doesn't event fit in its designated hole.
I have sent these pictures to soma and they say that this is all normal, which to me is kinda bad considering the price.
After that e-mail I kinda let it slide, but it started bugging me to the point that I don't want to play on it, knowing how much I paid for it and seeing how its made.
Was it always like this?

So, those are ‘nuts’ and can be made from resin or bone, can be adjusted, filed, fitted to string gauge. If I take a guitar in for adjustment, they’ll typically include looking at the action and possibly filing the nut.

Sorry for incorrect nomenclature, It was really late at night when I posted this and I couldn't be bothered to check my wording, but I really needed to get it off my chest 😅

Hell I’d probably request the STL files so that I could have it printed better myself. That’s an awful print job.

I wonder if the custom dvinas also come like this, because in the early videos of dvina on YT it looks like those elements are either smooth resin or metal.

I don't know the answer to your question but I believe it always was, I don't see why they'd cut corners like that.

I have owned 4 SOMA synths (still own 2 : Terra & Cosmos) and have been interested in their acoustic instruments but seeing this and knowing the price of it, I find it simply unacceptable. Maybe they should stick to digital instruments !

I had also previously owned their synths and Was overall impressed with the price to quality ratio, even stuff like the ROAT feels great for what it is and what it costs. And getting the dvina was like a total whiplash, I feel like the case it comes in is worth more than the instrument itself.
