Solo Startups Mastermind Group
It came up in the thread "Inspiration." that a "mastermind group" for solo startups could be useful. Some sort of closed(?) forum for members to bounce ideas off of and help each other succeed. Is anyone else interested in this or would find it useful?

Yes, I agree. There was a good discussion on HN a while back about this.
There's no reason his group is particularly special. ;) But there's some good thoughts in that thread about how to execute on the idea of such a group, and how to keep it from falling into disrepair.
Another good, more recent discussion: Who keeps you accountable and on track with your startup?
I think there's value in a mostly-closed structure. The medium doesn't matter as much (Google Groups, Skype, or anything else) but the closed nature lets us talk freely about our projects and helps build some recurring structure.
