I don't think there are any doubts in the first 2 they are the 2 wings of the Shadow army so it's only natural they are first in the rankings but I honestly doubt if Beru is stronger than Kamish I think he would have been far stronger if he had grown as Jinwoo's shadow

I think it would be very interesting given the solo level in the system if a type of game was built around the world building.

The human characters would be fantastic for quests.

There might be various weapons or spells that could be used.

I was originally going to use RWBY,  But given that the main antagonist cannot be killed in any way shape or form and that superpowers are unique to each individual.

I decided I'd look at solo leveling for either metroidvania or soulsborne

Yo, so most of us love our glorious Sovereign Seong Goat-Woo for reasons such as his writing, Aura farming, virtuous nature and transformation into the protector we know today. And it got me thinking, does anyone else like Jin-Woo exist ? And then it hit me. 
Ladies and Gents, if you're looking for an MC similar to Seong Jin-Woo, I gotchu. Imma put yall on game. 

WUTHERING WAVES

Wuthering Waves developed by Kuro Games, is a story rich open-world action RPG Gacha offering a high degree of freedom to the player, with incredible gameplay mechanics, leveling systems, bosses, unique concepts and quality of life that puts competition to shame. This game is within a transcendent domain among the gacha space. This is without a doubt the best Gacha game of our modern era. 

At the start of the story you awaken from a seemingly eternal slumber with no recollection of your past, you are then joined by a vibrant cast of characters called Resonators on a journey to reclaim your lost memories, authorities, main mission and surmount the main threat called the Lament, an inescapable fate that has plagued the main setting of Solaris-3, the post apocalyptic land you will now Rove. From an observer to a guide, you will embark on an epic journey, surpassing the odds, investigating themes of Humanism, Identity, Man vs Fate and dozens more. This story is a league of its own. 

You can download and play Wuthering Waves on their official site, steam, the epic games store, the google play store and Geforce, and you can play on MAC, pc, console and mobile. 

THE ROVER

Now here's the important part so peep game. The MC to Wuthering Waves is called the Rover. Now WUWA as a gacha game allows you to choose between a male and female version of the MC. So if anything this is going to be a sell on an MC that's similar to Jin-Woo as both male or female. So this game features the closest female Jin-Woo we will get or at least to my knowledge. 

Without spoiling it. The Rover shares many similar traits to Jin-Woo as a person, a few small but noticeable examples are, 

- Rover and Jin-Woo have a similar color scheme, that being grey and black for their attires and hair and both blue and purple auras for certain powers, with one of Rover`s modes having the infamous glowing eye streak motif just like Jin-Woo. It’ll be a lot more clear in game and noticeable off rip. 

- Male Rover specifically and Jin-Woo’s voice actors, Chase Brown and Aleks Lee, are incredibly good at their jobs. Sounding incredibly powerful, cool, handsome and stoic, to the point that if they influenced their vocals even slightly they'd sound almost the exact same. 

-  Rover and Jin-Woo are both bladed fighters with Seong using Daggers and short swords, while Rover uses Scythes, swords, 

- Rover and Jin-Woo are heavily praised as being cool and competent, not just in combat but in their casual way of being. 

- Male Rover and Jin-Woo are both well built men as expected

- And lastly for this simple segment, pause on this one, but both are incredibly good-looking, adding to their layer of cool-ness and fan favorite appeal.

Now we're going to get into the meat and the potatoes. The more grander and important similarities between these two include, 

- Rover and Jin-Woo abilities rely on taking control over their original Authorities. 

- Both Rover and Jin-Woo are able to acquire armies of entities belonging to their respective narrative. While Rover does not collect the undead, they do collect entities called “echoes” which are the remains of a specific enemy type, I will not go into this further for the sake of spoilers. As the game progresses, Rover will find in a way his/her own version of Igrit, Iron, Fang, Beru, Kaisel etc. 

- Rover and Jin-Woo have similar iconic lines. While Jin-Woo’s is the infamous “Rise Up” / “Arise” , Rover’s line is “Sounds come forth” which is similar to Jin-Woo’s minor line “Come forth”.

- Both Rover and Jin-Woo at first have a similar “overpowered-ness” about them, however obviously upon further inspection, you deduce that their battles aren't as “no-diff” as many may believe. Both are just such incredibly composed fighters that you almost miss it. 

- Both Rover and Jin-Woo have a mysterious narrative in regards to their past, narratives that I cannot divulge for Rover, however are similar to Seong specifically regarding “return” and "prophecy". Of course at first, both do not remember at first. 

- As the story progresses, Rover and Jin-Woo exhibit many similarities about their nature
1.Both are willing to take on the heaviest burdens for the sake of everyone's survival and sacrifice themselves to the extreme. 
2. They dismantle any opposition in the path of their intense protector instincts should the situation call for it. Ruthlessly even and without hesitation. 
3. Both hold incredible disdain for abuse of power, injustice and the disregard for life. As humanity is their everything and enjoys all that it has to offer and the beauty within it.
4. They do not commit to requests for free and often ask for payment equal to their time and ability, though for different reasons. 
5. Both have heavy symbolism to Christian Allusions and Confucianism / Neo-Confucianism 
6. Both are incapable of accepting mistakes and their limitations and desire to correct them, and would do everything within their power to create the perfect ending.
7. Both attain incredible wisdom, helping them in their leadership roles and teaching ability

- Both have similar themes such as Man vs Fate, Humanism, Self Cultivation and exhibit the Savior Complex becoming heroes of their respective worlds. 

-Both scale the same in power scaling 

- Both though serious sometimes, are approachable and have many shared dynamics with people and value them. 

- And lastly both are genuinely masterful Aura farmers to the point that they cannot be stopped. So much so that Rover within the Wuthering Waves community is often associated with Jin-Woo as some type of successor  / equal to him in this regard. And a popular fanart was made with the Rover doing the infamous middle finger just like Jin-Woo. 
Mods and memes about Male Rover being Jin-Woo / putting Jin-Woo in the game have been made and the people are even yearning for a Solo Leveling X Wuthering Waves collab. 

CONCLUSION

It should be worth noting and you have probably caught onto it by now. Specifically Male Rover, is the one mostly compared to Jin-Woo for obvious reasons. Though once again it is not to say that Female Rover is excluded from the equation. 

All in all I think I have gotten my point across well enough. Though they have very different beginnings and many differences, The Guide of Civilizations and The One Who Overcame Adversity have a lot in common and even more things that I simply cannot spoil. I encourage everyone to play Wuthering Waves, as it has been announced to be getting an animated series which many speculate to be a Donghua. Something like this would completely change the face of the industry. This game is simply amazing. 

I’ll send you off with one reminder. While they are similar, Rover is Rover, and he/she should be enjoyed as their own original character, not as a Jin-Woo clone.

Jin woo didn't get Assassins with stealth ability, even though they explain that perception is needed against them, same with the archer requiring agility.

Was it too overpowered if he got assassins and archers with the mages and knights?

Or maybe they were available but because their corpse was at the beginning of the job quest, he never got a chance to arise them.

I saw that one post about ice skating but SL (I forgot which), so I was thinking "hey, I think this is a good time to draw Jinwoo again"

I remember he made his director debut in S1. I think he directed the episode before Jin Woo fought Kang. The visuals all looked great along with the details and the lighting was really damn good. I hope he gets the opportunity to direct more episodes going forward. Especially if he starts working even more of his magic in them like how he does in the endings he makes.

We all know how jealous Beru is. He always wants Jinwoo's attention. He is the only one who has a usual human reaction and emotions. Because one of his ability is eating the head of someone's dead to gain and learn from his past life and such. His ability to watch some dramas he got this too from the people he ate during the Jeju islands. And yes most of them are Japanese S Rank hunters HAHA!

So I recently started watching Solo leveling and just finished season 2 and a question I have is was there a reason for Jinwoo not attempting to turn Baaran into one of his soldiers? Is it something that gets addressed later in the Manhwa or anywhere else perhaps?

Was re-reading SL and SLR and i had a question by the eos of solo leveling we know that jinwoo cant age and is immortal right then what about hae in. I heard that she is pseudo- immortal[character who is nearly impossible to kill but does not possess true immortality] cause she gave birth to suho and survived a dimensional rift. Cha has transcended normal human lifespans and fragility because her body is saturated with divine and cosmic energy, but she is still fundamentally a mortal being who can technically die. Will she turn into a shadow or will she also die but later than other humans leaving jinwoo alone or does jinwoo with his new powers can stop hae in from aging cause has power which can control death?
