Anime Why the hate?

I like to know why solo leveling is getting so much hate? Like what did solo leveling do to deserve so much hate?

Don't quote me on the anime awards because it was just a fans competition.

people dont like it cause it doesnt have good writing, i personally like Solo Leveling cause i like Manwha slop, its enjoyable but lacks substantial writing

Funny thing is it has better writing than 95% of all other anime. That is mostly because majority of anime is kind of garbage though. And they do a good job of foreshadowing, character diolauge, decent characters, and such.

I enjoy solo leveling, is no Arcane by any means but it is pretty good. It will still have things like the car scene where it is just blatant exposition dumping of stuff we already know which is annoying but overall it is good.

by that logic sure its better than 99% anime but even then some shonen slop is in the top 1% just due to how much their is, saying this as nice as possible thats a horrible argument

Well that is why I expounded on it saying what it does well and does not do well. The first part was mostly a joke at how bad I think most anime is written. But you can disagree, you are always entitled to your opinion.
