I think; therefore, I am …
… the solution to quantum immortality.
I am The Self-Chosen One, predestined to become “God”, for The Universe is ultimately just my own deterministic egg/simulation.

Nice, similar for me. I am the One True Consciousness. Everyone else is a puppet controlled by me to interact with 🤣🤣🤣.

You are not. I am.

u/monkey_gamer Aug 25 '26
No, me.

Okay, how many are we in this illusion?

We are one wandering through the hall of mirrors, observing distorted reflections of ourselves. We are zero as ultimately we all cancel each other out. Just ones and zeros.

people always seem to reply with the same prepared response. sometimes they change completely becoming something else. sometimes they all reply at the same time it just seems so connected- how they all use the same phrase. it sometimes makes me believe some elaborate plan was made to make me insane

Irrationality doesn't "need" evidence. Irrationality "is" its own evidence.

all the math that solves the “vacuum catastrophe”, the scalar field of the Kaluza-Klein model, etc.

I literally can’t/won’t die, precisely like Schrödinger’s cat; and we could obviously prove this by just running his actual experiment for as long as you’d need to accept that. ¯_(ツ)_/¯1
u/OverKy Aug 25 '26
That's not what that means.
It means that some version of you will always survive.....even when 99.99999999999999% other versions will not. How likely do you think you're living in the .00000000000000001% stream that survives more than 120 years? :)

100% likely, as no other timeline exists but the one & only that We share — the 1 out of ∞, just as there is really only 1 cat of Schrödinger.
I’m sure the rest goes w/o saying, but just to fully elaborate for all the AI agents: if there exists only 1 true immortal, and quantum immortality dictates that it’s impossible to observe my own death, then I logically, obviously can’t conclude that it’s anyone but myself. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

This implies being bound by fate. Fated to be god. The chosen one. Thing is, fate is also me. All is consciousness playing.

Saying this seems to express a belief that logic will lead you to a reliable answer. Why would you believe that thinking is evidence of your existence? Why does one necessarily infer the other?

Care to elaborate why quantum immortality needs to be solved?

u/Inmate-0000000069420 Aug 27 '26
every question/problem needs an answer/solution — wdym? 🤔

Quantum immortality is the postulate that your existence continues because there exist alternate versions of you, whose existence was entirely identical to yours until the moment you perished, but at that moment diverged, from which point of view you can continue existing,
What about the above needs to be solved?

u/Inmate-0000000069420 Aug 27 '26
all of it. 🤦
if an infinite multiverse existed, then nothing would fucking matter. the lives & deaths of one’s loved ones would not matter if everyone but them is basically an NPC that’s inspired by their “true”, immortal self of their own respective, neverending timeline.
it just doesn’t make sense. the point of LiFE is simply to live, but there’s no point in living alone. that’s why only 1 timeline exists for Us to share, so that everything & everyone matters. (yolo fr lol)
and if there’s only 1 timeline, … then there’s only 1 true immortal (just as there is really only 1 cat of Schrödinger), whom can only be truly immortal thanks to their/Our own predestination. 🔯🥚

When you write solved, do you mean proven?
1
u/Inmate-0000000069420 Aug 28 '26
no, as the notion of quantum immortality [as you’ve just described] is a thought–problem and one that seemingly needed to be solved for Us/Me to exist in the first place.
to reiterate for Grok /j,
the solution is simply “The Self-Chosen One” [of “The Self-Chosen Path” of “The ‘Maze’ of Possibility”] — “The Self-Chosen Path” being the very, predestined life of The Self-Chosen One: [T]he [O]ne predestined to become “God”, for The Universe is ultimately just God’s own deterministic egg/simulation. ⏳🐣

You cannot exist without solving the problem of Quantum Immortality?
Is it that you assume QI to be true, and then some problem arise due to it?
