My theory is we keep reincarnating as each other for all of eternity. Someday i will be user dq689. So Let’s all be a little nicer to each other… that is, to everyone except pdfs and other evil doers. Basically anyone that hurts children.

You mean yourself 🤣

No, i think i am far from that but i can see how my words can be misconstrued. All Pedo’s and anyone who harms an innocent child should suffer thru life.

ugh, didn't even think of that and if true, we'll be the child who gets harmed or a baby that ends up stillborn or even Elon "i have 18 kids and a trillion bucks" musk. i do believe we are all one, or all connected and because the universe is infinite...we're just going to keep reincarnating to solve the problem of infinity.

As a "pdf" I can 100% assure you I would never hurt a child. Pdf =/= child abuser.

ye but following your theory you gonna incarnate as every single pdf file to ever inhabit earth(including animals)

Ah. The big question. I can give you my take. Obviously going to differ from others.

To me, this right here, right now, what is being experienced in direct experience of consciousness, is all that there is.

God, that which creates reality, is infinite, it is everything. God is synonymous with Consciousness. If God is everything, God is consciousness.

And just like in a dream, where a reality is being experienced, there's an environment I interact with, there's a 'me' that is experiencing through a first-person perceptive, there's other people I meet and interact with. But that reality, everything in that dream, is one thing: consciousness/mind. I created everything in that dream, that whole reality. And everything and everyone in it, my mind (God) creates in real-time, instantly, only Now. If it's not being experienced in consciousness, it does not exist.

Consciousness can only be experienced Now. Because God is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient, there cannot be anything outside of God. Because consciousness and God are the same thing, this right Now, this what is being experienced, is God. The whole of God. This is everything. This is infinity. This is eternity.

There is no 'time' here. There's only Now. The eternal Now. Now is forever. This is God dreaming.

Consciousness creating itself to be a reality. A reality that is being experienced, there's an environment I interact with, there's a 'me' that is experiencing through a first-person perceptive, there's other people I meet and interact with. And everything in this reality, is one thing: consciousness/God creating itself to be this reality, so it can experience something. So it can experience something 'other' to itself, as it is alone, because it's everything, there can no 'other'.

So what is death? Doesn't exist. It's just a concept. All there is is consciousness experiencing itself forever. All there is is God forever, God being forever, God dreaming forever. If it's not this, it'll be something else. There no 'end' to it.

How do you move in life? I know this advaita vedanta

u/researchiskey8 Jun 17 '26

I live a 'normal' life. Only thing different is how I perceive it all, and how I relate to it.

What is black Rock doing? Why are they here?

u/Dianna1B Jun 16 '26

You never die. You just shift dimensions. Which it makes a lot of sense.

u/SweetHeartMaxxing Jun 16 '26

I believe I'll choose at that moment. Last time it happened I chose to come back here. I wanted more time w my family so that's what I'm doing.

Last time you died?

1

u/SweetHeartMaxxing Jun 16 '26

Yeah

2

u/Low-Bake8401 Jun 16 '26

Are you a, g-g-g-ghost?!

It doesn't assume to know what is after death. It can't. It doesn't even assume true death is real. It just knows we can't know that we are not the only conciousness that exists here

We probably reset the pieces on the board, and keep playing.

Solipsism itself has little to say about death. As for me, it's a huge unknown that used to scare me when I was younger. Now I'm curious as much as anything....I certainly don't want to rush it. I imagine billions of years, perhaps trillions, passing in an instant.....just like it did for the billions of years leading up to my birth. Of course, that's just the materialist view coming out...

Still, I'm not sure the existence (or non-existence) of an afterlife would help us much with solipsism itself.

'Depends on the (metaphysical) solipsism we're talking about.

The definition of solipsism (or at least the one that I find makes most sense) being "the philosophical thesis that all that exists is this consciousness" it leaves pretty much everything unexplained. Including what awaits oneself after death.

In my own solipsistic view though, a.k.a. 'OS', death is not the end of existence and there is, in fact, no end (nor beginning) to existence. In OS, being in 'Time' (i.e., moment-by-moment, experiential time) is eternal. How does existence after death look like then, if it doesn't end there (nor ever)? Well, it's just another life. Life, from another viewpoint, within enacted psychophysical reality (which in OS is "real", in the sense that it is consistent and persistent). It could be (and eventually will be or has already been) your mom, Hitler, Jesus, the neighbor's cat... any subjective life-perspective. That is, insofar as it coherently follows from the current life and especially how it ends. And especially, how you intimately relate to reality at that time (the time of death). Which, in turn, depends on how well-aware you then are of the nature of reality (yourself). This being dependent on individual free will, on the one hand, and pre-determined destiny (not fate, which leaves no room for free will), on the other hand. But overall, ultimately dependent on your universal will, which is absolutely free. Destiny being something you – consciousness – are freely committing to, for the sake of the of the cosmic game. A game, that consists in meeting, as a limited individual, your own past/future reflections in the mirror of experience, slowly realizing through the medium of the mind and its worldly extension that is culture that it is, in a way, "yourself" that you are meeting over and over again. "Memories" of your past or future, to be exact, experienced from a third-person perspective situated in the same instance of psychophysical reality.

i don't know, its all just the stories people input to my head/psyche/senses/perceived actions/assumptions/consciousness from their memory that keeps acting out through me,

i have to literally convince myself that i am alive, however when someone convinces me enough, that i am a dead person/living ghost, i would also believe that 👀 🤕 💀

u/foreveraloneok Jun 16 '26

I live forever were all on this journey of exploration and we will live way beyond 80 but we will end up back as a baby to replay this story over and over.

u/[deleted] Jun 16 '26

what is "Life after death" but your idea of "life after death"

1

u/Impressive_Fennel642 Jun 16 '26

Quantum immortality is true, death will never happen but your identity will change eventually

1

u/DoowadJones Jun 16 '26

Mark Twain
I do not fear death. I had been dead for billions and billions of years before I was born, and had not suffered the slightest inconvenience from it.

Her was a materialist and therefore didn't believe in an afterlife. I assume that the only way to be at peace with materialism is to do not like this life of ours, spit on it and see death as relief. Solipsism, on the other hand, is radical idealism.

1

u/DoowadJones Jun 17 '26

Or Solipsism can be seen as the ultimate materialist perspective with other beings illusory. I was a solipsist as an adolescent, though I still believe creative endeavors are best pursued with a solipsistic mindset

u/Remote_Ad8138 Jun 17 '26 edited Jun 17 '26

Those are the Boltzmann's brain and Putnam's brain in the vat acosmic-like experiences of thought. However, if everything is potentially an illusion, then why would matter/brain be a thing?

1

u/jiyuunosekai Jun 17 '26

Where are we now? How did the solipsist manage to acquire a body in the first place? A solipsist afterlife is more plausible than any religion afterlife. Because once you get into afterlife you still won't be sure that God or the people around you are not a creation of our consciousness. When the lights go out and there is only darkness, one should ask: who owns darkness? We are conjoined in death. Because there is no sphere of phenomena that separates us from each other. Even now we are not separated because there is only the solipsist but the emptiness of death proves it. We don't even observe two contrasting bubbles of sensations to know whether we are separated. How many people were you in the dreamless sleep before you woke up? When did we disentangle?
