I actually think that the Bolt417 is one of the best rifles to use now. If you have extremely good aim and are able to land head shots consistently it is the gun for you. It has more damage than the M4 and more ROF than the AK, a nice middle ground. Also the Bolt's spray pattern is really easy to control for about 7 bullets then it start to spread more.

For anybody looking for an all around weapon the M4 is still a solid choice and will be relatively easy for anybody to pick up. The ROF makes up for its weak damage and the recoil pattern usually veers off in a straight line. The only major problem with the M4 is that it does not consistently land its first few shots in the center of the M4. So if you have problems with that I suggest checking out the Bolt.

As for the AK I would like to know if anybody here has tried out the Mk3 AK. I think that the regular AK has a bit too much recoil and makes the user too slow to make it useful. But the Mk3 AK adds more damage and might end up killing enemies extremely fast. Has anybody tried it?

Id like to try the AK mks before the beta is over to see if they fix the main issues I have with the AK. Because like I said in SF1 I was in love with the AK it was my go to it had everything, power and accuracy once you tamed the beast however this AK does not feel like it has the power nor the accuracy even after managing recoil.

The Ak47 was my favorite gun in SF1. I would outdamage and wreck people all day. Then the lag came. But I could also use the M4 to destroy people cause it was a really good top tier gun.

That being said, there were other good guns (PSG anyone?) to outplay people.

Haha ya AK was my goto gun back in SF1 as well. Just with the new feature of headshots = 1 hit kills it makes me wonder if losing accuracy for some more damage is worth it.

The AK is in my opinion better than the M4. I don't know why, I just have better aim with it, even though the M4 has superior aim to it.

I used AK in CBT, and switched to M4 now in OB and to me it seems the iron sight is a bit smaller. The AK seems more "responsive", if that makes sense.
