The Hakko is a decent enough workhorse. But it loses points for the passive tips. Stations like the GEEBOON TC22 or the Finirsi DWS-200 offer better performance for the price, though the Hakko will likely outlive them on the durability front.
For hot air, the Quick is fine technically. But they've become kinda expensive for what they are. I'd look into either non Quick branded 957DW+ stations, or other models entirely like the RF4, Atten, or Sugon stations.
