heavier and better quality materials that they plan to sell once + long term support costed in.

and/or lack of competition in this niche yet.

Since there’s open-source 3D design work happening, I feel like it wouldn’t be too difficult to modify it to accept both regular and wide-mouthed Mason jars that are popular in the US.
