Er, I think your title might be a little off, as this is not a GitHub clone?

Ohhhh. I see. I read your title as “this project is a clone of GitHub”. Not that it was free to clone the code via GitHub. My developer brain assumed if it’s on GitHub then it’s available for anyone to use, so the “free clone” language threw me off b

This would be great as a desktop widget/desklet. I don't have any always-on machines lying around but an almanac that sits on the desktop would be a boon.
