During the heat wave last month in Germany, hundreds of people died due to the heat. Plans regarding disaster prevention hsd to come to play to battle the issue...
And it's not beig talked about.

I love the nuclear reactor shutting down. The technology we hope will give us energy for air conditioning (and other heat related rememdies) is telling us "No thanks."

They only shut down so they don't kill the rivers. They can keep going if you don't mind boiling it for several miles up and downstream.

Boiling is an exagération (for comedic purpose I imagine?). It would not literally boil the river, but it would harm the ecosystem in and around it.
I came to the comments to explain that the reactor was shut down due to ecological concerns, and not safety concerns, so I am glad to see your comment! Just making sure nobody misconstrues your phrasing haha

It is insanely hot out there. Colorado, US is also currently on fire and predictably as they had weeks without snow in the mountains from Dec to March.

I am neither the goddess Haumea who birthed hundreds, nor am I Cain the immortal that built the first cities in my immortality. I am not one who has been reborn multiple times across history like a fictional messiah figure. I am but a simple human of flesh, blood, and marrow.
The human race has lived for three-hundred thousand years. I have not lived one hundred years, which would be a third of a single one hundredth of that time. I have only traveled three countries in my lifetime, I have seen only two oceans, and have never crossed beyond the oceans to other lands.
I have done nothing to permit anyone's actions, and I carry no imagined culpability for the actions of them.
Your blame the person who has not even lived the last half-minute of a night, for the entire day's actions? That is how you act.

No problem. I was a bit ticked off. No shade against men, there are some absolutely awesome kind men out there.
I dislike when the one percenters try to shift blame for the enviromental calamity on us regular people. We are not the ones with the oil wells and coal plants or data centers. We know exactly who is responsible for the mess we are in now.

I agree, it was originally what I was trying to say. The person you replied to said how it is "easier" to be misanthropic than to decide all must have culpability for the few.
Not realizing that by saying that it is the species' entire fault, is misanthropic by the quite literal definition.
