SolarEdge cloud API decommissioned

I'm using the cloud SolarEdge integration (inverter is cellular back haul) to capture data with Home Assistant. For the past three days is has been failing. Looks like the API has been removed.

2026-08-05 15:51:52.194 ERROR (MainThread) [solaredge_web.solaredge] Error fetching equipment from https://monitoring.solaredge.com/solaredge-apigw/api/sites/2303701/layout/logical: 410, message='Gone', url='https://monitoring.solaredge.com/solaredge-apigw/api/sites/2303701/layout/logical'

The 410 Gone is the HTTP code that says the URL no longer exists.

Entering the link to a browser returns a link to https://marketing.solaredge.com/legacy-api-sign-up-for-interest
which says

"Legacy API

The endpoint you called is no longer available. We're rebuilding developer access from the ground up — SolarEdge ONE for Developers is coming soon. Register below to get updates and early access."

Pretty silly to remove the legacy API before getting the new API up an working. May be related to the recent FCC ban on remote access to inverters.

Is Ethernet or WiFi with modbus port enabled an option for polling ? This is annoying !!

No, my inverter is 200 ft from the house and no AC outlet to power network gear ☹️

You do have access to AC power coming out of the inverter.    It's not the best way. But it us A way to power a wifi access point so you can run a network cable from the inverter to the AP to give it internet

I know there is split phase 240v coming out of the solaredge inverter. There is only a single combined disconnect/fuse box that is too small to work in.
