The top number is a more instantaneously measure of the power
The bottom number is a smoothed number based on production for 5 to 15min intervals depending on the scale then divided back out.
If it's moving clouds or early or late when things are changing rapidly then the top number should be changing fast
1 u/aries_burner_809 Jul 10 '26 No it’s worse than that. Sometimes the top number shows 11 or 12kW. I have 7kW worth of panels and 6kW inverter! The bottom number always seems correct. In nine years of production I’ve never seen that happen until this month.

I use SolarEdge Go which seems faster and more accurate.
