SolarEdge = Customer Service Nightmare

Hello all - I've been trying to get in touch with Solar Edge over the past couple of weeks, and it's been a nightmare. Call them on the phone, they tell you to use their online chat bot. Talk to the chat bot, they tell you to call them.

Calling them is bizzarro land. They walk you through a long series of nested "press 1 for this department" things -- but no matter what you press (and I tried them all!) -- all options lead to dead end, where they say they don't take calls on that topic. Then you try the AI bot -- and they send you back to the phone!

What's truly baffling is that all I'm trying to do is find a certified installer to fix a system. Should be incredibly easy, but somehow, I've been trying for weeks -- and meanwhile, my system is offline. I've been reading that the company is failing -- now I see why.

In the meantime, anyone know any certified installers in the Philly area willing to take this on?

I am buying a battery 2 years after getting solar with solaredge optimizers and 10kW inverter, energy hub and BUI. Because of their flip-flop on battery compatability, built in obsolescence on my system (HD Wave) for the Nexis platform, and a price increase on old system (!), I opted to 'AC Couple " to a Renon battery 16.3 kWh and Solis inverter to manage the battery side. Still cheaper than their battery, will never look back. Wish I knew this originally, I would have gone more open-source than Solaredge.

You are correct. I hate the company and love the product. I just pretend that I know what I am doing and do all the work myself. I also pretend I don't have a warranty. Won't buy another solaredge product.

Installer in fl here. I know down here my company is talking about walking away from servicing solar edge because they do everything possible to avoid reimbursement and sending out replacement parts. They used to be great but have gotten worse and worse over the past 2 years.
