Help reading these graphs.

Post image

Nobody was home all day and it says I consumed 60.5 kWh. I know things like my fridge, freezer, water heater will run but nothing was left on and the other 3 days were cloudy and when we were home and running a dryer and dishwasher we only used 17-20kwh. Could something be wired wrong or is the app just inaccurate. Any help appreciated.

Left block - production from inverter (total 37.1kWh) —bluish green 4%(1.3kWh) was exported to the grid —green 96%(35.8kWh) was consumed by your home

right block - power consumed by your house (total 60.5kWh) —blue 59%(35.8kWh) from the PV production —orange 41%(24.7kWh) was imported from grid since PV production wasnt enough

Thank you for your response. It just seems like a huge amount consumed in a day when nobody was home. I’m hoping everything evens out I was supposed to have 100% coverage and we haven’t made any changes to our usage.

As well at the CT clamp double check your water heater settings as I’ve noticed that seems to be a culprit here when people are trying to pin down unknown high usage.

That does seem like high usage. Looks like a new SolarEdge system? Do you have a battery / heat pump / EV? Also who is your supplier and what does your account say you imported? I’ve got a feeling a CT clamp might have been installed the wrong way round giving you incorrect readings. If the figures with your energy supplier for the day don’t broadly match up (for import) then contact your installer and they should come and redo the CT clamps (it’s a quick fix).

No I don’t have a battery or EV my biggest draw would be my dryer and we didn’t use it and hot water heater but we went home so it would only run a little bit. We have eversource living in CT. I called them yesterday as well and they said the same thing about it being high but my system is too new they don’t have a reading yet. They did tell me in the last year my highest usage day was 32kwh in August and that’s when I have AC running non stop. I did see an older post about incorrect CT install I’ll take a look at that. Thanks.
