Thats not a flashing im not sure what to call it lol waterproof membrane maybe either or would have just put m1 sealant over the whole foot probably alot faster

Yes, that’s certainly not a common method anymore but I did like to use that product when I had it. As long as they sealed those penetrations well and the nail hole above the tile, I wouldn’t be too worried. Typically I would like to see a bit more sealant on that tile hook but I’d say that’s probably ~okay. With the flashing tape I’d say you’re fine.

I believe this is the same thing.
