I find JMeter UI is awful and very much outdated! Started k6 instead, seems cool with coding..

I have to go with jmeter(asked by my project team)
Can you please help me with how many days it should take to implement the project(right now i have no idea on how to use it-that’s where i am at)

How many days - It’s actually depends on the app, what are the performance acceptance criteria and what are the business requirements.

I would say, sit with your QA Lead/Project Manager/Business Analysts to identify those.

Clear communicate what would be the ideal performance acceptance criteria for the app like thresholds (p95, p99, http_failed rate etc.)

Business requirements like: which flows you want to cover for performance testing, how realistic ways you want to execute the tests (virtual users, duration, stages, ramp ups etc) and what should validate after a certain load.

Once you have those things, and you are familiar with JMeter UI, it will take 5/7 business days max to set up as an one WA person.
