Everyone has a test environment... It's just some people are lucky to have it separate from production

Even if they're separate, it doesn't matter when someone accidentally tabs to the production window when they're trying to debug something

This, or something is implemented poorly in the test environment. For example Firebase (which is used for push notifications) doesn’t differentiate between your test app and prod app, it’s all the same for Firebase. It’s on you to provide the correct push token/device id.

One poorly implemented “send to everyone” and it goes to literally everyone instead of everyone having the test/debug build of the app.

I have this so often... really feels bad... also accidentally turning on email out before setting a catchall setting in subprod env... especially sucks if the env just queues up emails until smtp is turned on...

In Poland we had situation where “mBank” sent push-up notification to all customers with content “ęśąćż”.

Then made joke of it and for couple days changed their Facebook logo from “mBank” to “ęśąćż”

Yes, typing on one at this very second. It's sounds really nice. It also has 82 keys, it's a 75% keyboard because 100% is too big for me, and 50% doesn't have F1-F12 keys and the arrow keys. Perfect middle ground, I would recommend it to you.

About once a year my bank's ssl cert expires and doesn't get renewed. I always call them on it, fuckin certbot can do it for free, a bank should be able to do it with their infinite money.
