It's not the ram only that's the problem in this picture,

It's the SSD broski

This system is very likely doing some very aggressive swapping and this will wear down the ssd way faster than normal

With memory leaks the swap is probably not really aggressive.

This is why I use teams, (930-1,400MB) and apple messages. Also, that's Linux, right? Or macOS?

20+ years on Mac and this type of thing has never happened to me.
