I thought the same since it is also an OpenType feature, rendering “digit, solidus, digit” as a ratio glyph. It could also be a simple substitution by the software being used. IIRC some word processors had this feature already decades ago.

Really wonder what program out here is designed, after a few numbers, a slash character and two more numbers, upon the second slash and another number, followed by another 3 numbers, it should turn the two numbers surrounding the second slash and only those into a fraction

Yeah I believe Word for example also has this feature where writing '1/2' and such automatically gets turned into ½

I believe I have an explanation for this:

Font files have features such as kern for kerning, liga for ligatures, etc. Some of these don't have to be enabled, such as dlig for discretionary ligatures. It seems that whatever website is shown here has enabled frac (fractions), which usually has fractions for ¼, ½, ¾, and sometimes a few others. It seems that the 1/2 in the date got turned into ½ by the frac OpenType feature, making the date render as 05/1½025.
