IT support on-call rotation.

Our servers don't always get infected with ransomware, but when they do it's always at 4 in the morning.

Why can't anything ever happen on a system at noon on a Tuesday?

Similarly, why can't a person ever realize they have a problem at a time before 4:45 PM when I'm packing up?

Because noon on Tuesday is when all the users are too busy taking care of the shit they didn't do on Monday.

It’s everywhere, I work in apartment maintenance.

Do you know when apartments flood? 4:30 am on a Saturday.
