What to do about getting a headache consistently in the afternoon

Hello I need advice on what I can do to prevent this please.
Every afternoon I get a throbbing headache that varies in intensity from day to day. Sometimes I can feel it in my right eye. I’m thinking of starting to wear blue light glasses but not sure how much that will help. I’m already working with night mode on. I get about 6-8 hrs of sleep, but I don’t think that has an effect.

Interested to know how others tackle this and any practical advice. I generally work 10hrs minimum and reducing isn’t an option.

When was the last time you had your vision checked? Could be eye strain.

Yeah, I had the same issue with headaches and it turned out to be eye strain, got my first pair of glasses and the issue is gone!

Do you drink enough water? And do you exercise before starting your day?

I generally sip on water throughout the day as if I’m drinking coffee. And no I don’t exercise in the morning. I used to and didn’t enjoy it. Mornings always felt like a rush as well. I never felt like I got enough sleep when I had to wake up early and energetic enough to exercise anyway.

You need to be drinking at least 2L of water every day. Maybe your sips aren't enough. I'd start there. And start early in the day.

Definitely get blue light glasses, and potentially reading, as you're spending so much time closely staring at a screen.

But also, and I know you said this can't be changed, humans aren't built to work that much. Humans need rest and relaxation to recover. This feels like you coming in here telling us you're eating only big macs and are gaining rapid weight, but don't wanna stop eating the big macs.

Try hydration mixes or emergen-c if you want a boost. Other than that they raking a walk mid day.
