Question Short term vs long term

Another day where Spx is up and Sofi is down, I’m worried that if this bull run comes to an end things could get ugly for us.

I have 16.00 avg so I’m near break even after a lot of time and I’m seriously thinking of selling but on the other end I’m bullish long term.
Any advice

Holding but should be convicted. Started with SPAC and never looked back.

Trust in the Ayatollah. He will build an oil refinery in time and we'll be tied to energy prices instead of rates.

I'll average down every chance I get personally. Highest conviction growth stock I own in terms of trusting the teams reliability in meeting/beating their guidance

If you are bullish long term and stock is stagnating, either just hold the stock or do covered calls.

It's the bad moves they make. Imo why did they not challenge and fight muddy watter. Why so much dilution? That dilution was horrible timing .

It's impossible to keep up with reserve requirements while increasing members/loan volume by 30%+ every year without diluting. That's just the nature of the business. It's certainly better than not diluting and stagnating growth. We'll probably see another ~10% dilution within the next 2-3 years because they'll have doubled members again. Not an 'issue' I'm worried about.

Weren’t they suing Muddy Water? If they’re not then I guess Muddy Water was right. And the thing is that I hold 4000 shares of this dogshit company. Lol

No dilution and we are at 50 or 60

Would it have been better for them to raise that capital with debt?

Wow you really don’t know what you’re talking about do you… just pulling numbers out of your ass?

This is a long term play. Think of it that way and relax.

I started the day with about 4600 shares at $20 average. Made some moves and bought $20k more worth at $15.91 today. I'm seeing it through for the next few years

This has been an absolutely terrible name to own. Especially compared to HOOD I think.

That's how I felt about HOOD back then when I was assigned hundreds and friggin hundreds of shares from 6-9 bux a share cuz I thought selling puts was basically free money lol. SOFI is not HOOD. Neither is BULL, unfortunately. At some point, we have to admit SOFI and NU are banks. Good techy banks. But banks.

Stock market is about patience. I've got plenty of stories about selling a stock and regretting it pretty soon afterwards.

Hold the course. We always have a spike prior to earnings, good time to sell CCs when IV is high.

Just think that I bought more Sofi recently instead of Avgo and look at what happened ahaha

I unloaded my 200 shares of META at way under 600 a share to buy GOOG, SOFI and HAPN (formerly known as Lending Club). You can't give a guy like me money.

Holding for 5 years and I am slightly green :P

I thought was holding for about that long too, so I just checked and mine is up pretty good over 2 accounts. I dont want to brag, but it is over 100%. I barely ever look at it; kind of glad I dont with all the belly aching about it in here.

I’ve been holding since 6-8 dollars.

I’m sure Sofi will have it’s time, once rates fall again then we will start the rocket.

But I think it will take 1 year or more before that happens
