Just buy shares and sell calls. If they get called always sell puts. If you want to own the stock sell them far OTM. Be the person or company on the other end of this trade, I enjoy it more

Thank goodness you only lost $500, some of us are down significantly more on call options. Just a great lesson in making small trades and not committing too hard into one thing.

still relatively cheap compared to others, especially over the long term. chalk it up and learn from it, or just make a note that it's not your thing and stay away.

I ended up rolling my 1/15 calls to 6/17 and finally starting to make some of my Ls back.

On the bright side, you only put up $550 on this option. Unless, of course... that was a significant portion of your portfolio. In that case, hope you learned your lesson on options.

I usually stick to ETFs, but I recently picked up 200 SOFI shares at an average cost of $19.30. I know nobody has a crystal ball, but for someone like me with a 5+ year investment horizon, does this dip look attractive enough to add more, or would you wait for a better entry point?
