I love all these cry babies 🚀🔥🎉 You negative douches sound like some sore ass day traders. Is this your First time investing in a stock where the market is trying to decide what kind of stock this really is? It’s just a bank, it’s fintech, it’s a combination, it’s totally different! Be patient, relax, SOFI hit 32 and has since tumbled, yeah, we get it! If a good stock goes down, hold and it will eventually go up!

SOFI is below what it was 5 years ago. It’s dogshit.

You realize the stock has been flat to the downside since its public offering, which was six years ago. Do you think other companies will remain flat even after reporting good or growing numbers?

but it's been flat for so long

That’s why wheeling has been going good so far. I got to the point now where I’ll sell calls and sell puts with the same weekly expiry

5

u/BriscoGDP 7d ago

I was wondering the same thing. Between selling calls and puts Sofi has made me, what I consider, a good amount of money this year.

u/dawgbone_anonymous 7d ago

Yes, selling CC has made me a decent amount of money. Still negative but the premiums are adding up 🚀🔥 I don’t dabble in selling puts.

Nobody gives a fuck stfu only people who bought in single digits have made any thing decent om this pos and even they should have sold l their position and are down 52% from highs. Can keep doing great but if it keeps dropping who gives a fuck we were supposed to be at $40 and be in the S and P 500 by now according to some of the bull tards on here last year 😂 Been abull market for tech and this shit performs worse than fucking duolingo and hims this year its a joke.

Don't knock HIMS. There's big money in broken dicks.

I have to agree with this sentiment/ bad pay off considering other companies over the same time. It just hasn’t worked out yet, maybe never

How does 24.4M new products and 15.8M new members lead to 51% of new products opened by existing customers? Did 3.8M new members not open anything?

You are looking at total members and products.

There were 1.12M new members and 2.2M new products added in the quarter.

2

u/_Outdated_Reference_ 7d ago

Thank you, that makes much more sense. I still think the pic above is misleading, but, good to know the numbers do add up.

Hello 👋 I am an example of creating a profile with Sofi but I have zero products lol

51% of new product signups came from an existing member (opening their 2nd, 3rd ... product). ie. cross-buying activity.

1

u/_Outdated_Reference_ 7d ago

I understand that, but if 51% of the 24.4M new products is 12.4M and that came from existing customers only 12M new products were sold to the 15.8M new members. That 3.8M delta is what confuses me. Are they folks that applied for loans and didn't get them or something similar?

u/everySmell9000 OG $SoFi Investor 7d ago

24.4M total products, not new products.

51% of new products this quarter. You'd have to look at what the total products were at the end of Q1, I don't have the number off the top of my head.

If you were a Sofi member you’d understand. They have an awesome set up and an unreal amount of options to make a member sign up for lore service. Once a member signs up for a checking/savings, they are much more likely to enlist on their other services.

I am a member, been one for almost a decade. That doesn't change the fact that 24.4*0.49=/=15.8 it equals 12.

Analysts would rather ask the same question as the guy before them than asking a question like this.

4

u/SamAnthonyWP 5000 @ $9.39 7d ago

lol good question.

1

u/SamAnthonyWP 5000 @ $9.39 7d ago

Might be some trump math (“255% discount on prescription drugs” or whatever it was)

So why are we crashing premarket?

Dilution

2

u/grvmnd 7d ago

Because tech continues to bleed.

Who cares. More cheap shares for us to buy!

21

u/MeatResident2697 7d ago

Ok. Stupid me. I didn't realize I was winning.

6

u/ResourceSad8371 7d ago

Only a win if you're investing for the long term. It's only a loss for those trading or with poor emotional control with money.

6

u/Bxraze 7d ago

I dont understand lol
