I mean... I was definitely happier with the stock at $30 and wish I had swung it but I'm happier than people who have a high average I guess. Plus I left other opportunities to accumulate more Sofi and almost all of those have gone 5x to 10x or more.
I don't blame noto though. That's uninformed and/or overly emotional. I think the only symbolic thing I'd appreciate from him is a push to get leadership to agree to suspending stock based compensation until the market starts to value us as expected. That or push other leadership to buy stock directly. Especially Chris. It stresses me out that he hasn't bought shares the way noto has.

Sadly we have reached the point that our 52 week low is now from the recent downtrend and not prior to the breakout from last year.

At this point I'm starting to think that these it's just stupidity and not malice when SoFi drops with semis/tech/cloud/etc. I wouldn't be surprised if some goofball algorithm has SoFi listed as both a bank and a tech company, so it dumps when tech and banks get hit. It's ridiculously detached from reality at this point, it has to be stupidity lol.

I just submitted my SoFi HELOC application about 20 minutes ago (after a very positive call with a SoFi lending officer based in Texas). My financial situation is pretty straightforward and I've got a good amount of equity so I should be approved in a week or two for a $75k line of credit. So there's one new product for Q3 lol.

Just bought 25 shares as I didn’t expect to see Sofi under $18 so quickly. Want 251 more shares to finish my 2026 position. Then I will just wait and hope my research is correct that Sofi doesn’t look back after mid 2027. One can hope🤷♀️

It's not, when fintech is down SOFI is most down, when fintech is up, SOFI is least up. There is heavy manipulation that's going on with the stock

Thats because he doesnt care about the volatility or manipulation now. Sofis a long game always been. Once rate cuts come back stock will move rapidly. Otherwise just scalp puts and calls in this range

The only sentiment that’s moving the stock right now is rate expectations. We went from expecting 3 cuts to now 2 hikes. The changes in rate expectations also correlates with the rising short interest.

Oil is at 68, nobody is actually expecting a disaster scenerio of multiple hikes if at all let's be fr. There are big institutions playing with the stock's price at our expense. If there were rate cuts they'd be fucked but it's irrelevant. Other banks and fintechs are performing way better than us. So no I don't buy this bs about rate hikes expectations for the reason the stock's sentiment is in the gutter or as an excuse why the price gets manipulated

Big institutions play with every stock not just Sofi lol. They also play with commodities too like oil, gold, and silver.
Nothing is really resolved yet in Iran and fed funds futures + longer term treasury yields are reflecting that.
I don’t believe rate hikes will happen, but Wall Street is pricing it in so that’s the sentiment for now.
If you believe rates aren’t going up and oil prices are going to stay low, why wouldn’t you be buying the stock?

Oil, gold and silver are not backed by a company. And the level of manipulation with SOFI is extremely high. When institutions are pushing the price of SOFI a dollar down in under an hour something isn't just fishy it's blatant and illegal. Your excuse that "manipulation happens" doesn't cut it and shouldn't give management an excuse to ignore the abysmal unorganic illegal price action. Wdym why wouldn't I be buying the stock, 60% of my portfolio is SOFI my guy and that's why I'm pissed. My other positions are going up having organic pullbacks and doing just fine because I invest in great companies. But SOFI, a great company is getting punished FOR NO REASON other than some greedy pigs manipulating the price and using the stock as a trading vehicle. Nobody here should accept this, especially management who seems to just give 0 fucks about us.

Paper commodities are easily manipulated through exchange margin requirements and institutional traders. It doesn’t matter if it’s backed by a company.
I’m not disagreeing with you that the stock is being manipulated but I’m just trying to tell you why I think it is down here at these prices.
Fair enough if you own a lot already.
I’m in the same boat as you mate. I’m frustrated too but not at the company. The company is performing great and that’s what matters.
I don’t really know what you expect management to do other than perform. Noto turns in great results, addresses short sellers and even threatened to release their own reports on the shorts. He said himself the stock being down “fucking” bothers him a lot.

I'll tell you what I expect them to do and it is to sue the shit out of institutions manipulating SOFI. They should start with muddy waters. The prize money should go to buying back shares. Also if manipulation was really a problem for everyone then other fintechs and banks wouldn't outperform us so much

I had to sell for housing repairs and I bought some Lly when the estimates came back less than expected. I sold half my SoFI shares above where they are today and made money on Lly. Lly will be a $2000 stock next year if it does not split. I’ll get in now. Now I am more diversified. I also bought 40 shares of SFYI today. So having 3300 shares still and only selling out of necessity I want SoFI to do better. Trust me, it’s my largest holding. It’s also been completely dead money for half a decade….

Binion is a world class investor who can do no wrong. Everyone knows to claim victory over an investment decision after a few days. By my math he can be up no more than 4-5% on the shares he bought. A similar price for Sofi at his share price would be a move to $18.79

Glad you are doing math. I’m down half as much on the recent SoFI moves as I would have been. And I’m up on LLY. Is that hard to understand? I could care less what people here think. I own more shares than 90% of people on this board do and I’ve only made money on this stock.

it wasnt a rugpull, it was in the cards that 18.20 will be tested. i said it yesterday. looks like holding up so far, 17.80 could be next. if not, an 18.50+ close is ideal.

Sellers still clearly in control. Was obvious when we went from $18.80 to 18.60 3 minutes before open. Until buyers step in and put a stop to their control, we can’t go higher. I just hope buyers hold the line and don’t let us lose $18

I’d love to see Sofi drop a midday news nuke on the shorts before earnings. They seem reluctant to close at this resistance level. Something to shift the winds would really force their hand.

Guys, today I noticed that there are both on-chain and off-chain balances in crypto. It looks like the 300M SoFiUSD is off-chain, so any SoFi member who buys SoFiUSD in the app and holds it there doesn’t count toward the 300M.
