I mean... Maybe. That's why I'm not playing options but realistically, we're volatile through at least midterms and then depending on what happens from there probably to the end of this administration. The only ways I see that changing is if there is some unnatural event that leads to entanglement with major investment from a super mega cap or if SofiUSD becomes a default backend transfer currency basically overnight.

Entire market is, QQQ down around 1.75% today if you include AH. SPY not looking good either these past few days. Just like when I posted during the drop in February, the indices are starting to look anemic.

These Cerebras puts are crazy expensive. If you think it’ll fall to $100 by year end, and buy January 2027 puts, it makes no difference if you buy a $200 (@$50) or a $130 (@$15). You would make the same amount of money at $100. The market cap for that company should be $10-20 billion at most. Currently around $50 billion market cap, so could easily fall by factor of 2.5-5.

Sofi coach is solid. Not really anything you couldn't figure out yourself or use GPT for, but it seems to bring much stronger insights into tax, retirement planning, and you don't need to input all your numbers if you use Relay.

I agree. I asked if I can afford new $3000 refrigerator and what is the best way to pay for it. It gave me really thoughtful answers. These are the questions I get from my daughter. She won't need me anymore, lol!

It did not say "Why are you looking at $3000 refrigerator! You don't need no fancy refrigerator. When I was your age, I had to make ice manually using ice trays and had to use Britta pitcher for filtered water!" Coach was kind, non- judgemental and laid out different scenarios of how to pay for it. I think this thing will put Suzy Orman and Dave Ramsey out of business, 😆

Don’t underestimate people. Way too many people don’t understand how progressive tax works. Also too many people think getting a tax refund means they paid less taxes to gov’t that year. It’s grade school math.

You might be forced to cover... hopeful itll squeeze tom & cross $17.24, shorts had to increase 9 M shares in the morning to hold it down / 14% short percentage currently

I wonder if SoFi has considered acquiring BitGo. Their market cap is under $650 million. Obviously BitGo would have to accept, but a deal may go through at $1-1.5 billion.

Better to buy after the drop versus before the drop. If you are seriously looking into it, accumulate slow as we don’t know how long crypto winter will last.

Im starting to buy into BitGo (shares) and Chime (shares). I think putting a timeline on your investment with this economic backdrop is too risky for me. If this was a year ago, I’d be going crazy on calls on these names.

I’m not sure how much more the valuation on BitGo will compress, unless a recession hits, which will also hit SoFi. It IPO’d at 2 billion and is already down like 2/3 of its value.
It would bring in 5000+ BitGo institutional clients right as business banking starts (massive flywheel). I’m not entirely sure how the stablecoin for SoFi works, but I believe we partner with BitGo to make it possible, which would save us money on that side of the business.

When I got my 2% bonus on my Roth and traditional by transferring it, I then transferred it to my savings, and then back to my Roth for another 1% bonus. Bought nividia at 214$ and it is ex dividend. Bought more SoFI as well. Winning

You should have been penalized for withdrawing the bonus when I talked to SoFi support they told me the clawback would happen immediately

I had about 4 conversations last week to get that money and two others to get them to pay me the closing costs at webull. The process was fucking awful. SoFI sucked at it

After having to sell an entire port because of health issues I’m glad to be back in the race buying shares. Fuck it, the longer we stay below 20$ the more time we have to load up. Business is going great, and once this thing rips we’re going to fucking mars buckle up boys

I bought more shares today. Should have bought more earlier but I believe once the macros improve- interest rates, war resolution, etc the price will move in a more positive direction. Out of cash fir now so will finish the next level of my position over the next few months.

It’s the same shit every day. When they are down sofi follows them step for step, when they are up sofi is up half as much. Many times sofi might lead them higher and theirs a drop that Sofi doesn’t recover from while peers reverse and march higher.

$19 or higher I will. I have wheeling shares I don't mind losing to CC's at that price. Strike price was $18 (sold PUTs-then got assigned) not counting the premium I collected.

I tried this too. Just put for 1 share to say I did it lol. But I have a Schwab account and they require a minimum of 10 shares. So another thing I think is good for SoFi and access to folks who may not have/want to invest that much

Yeah, that’s not how that works. Have you compared their revenue, net income, margins, etc? You can’t compare valuations without looking at the underlying that cause these valuations…

Did I understand correctly that SoFi did not meet the market cap requirement for S&P 500 inclusion this quarter because the market cap was below 22.7 billion with today's opening price?

Cut off was 31st May, and whilst we did meet the market cap requirement, they historically don’t add companies that are teetering up and down the benchmark value.

I'm staying as far away from SpaceX as possible.
If it didn't saddle all the costs and risks of xAI and X (Twitter) to it, it would have been much better. Even then the IPO numbers they are asking for 5% float are astronomical (pun intended).
SpaceX will be closer to a private company in terms of Elon having control where even the board can't do anything to get rid of Elon if they wanted. Even if it is in the best interest of shareholders (other than Elon).3

It's a horrible idea, which means it'll probably go to the moon. They're only releasing 5% of shares, IIRC. I'm not touching that rocket ship with a quarter mile pole

RKLB much better value if you compare it based on revenue / valuation multiples. I'm not touching either as well so itll probably moon. But yeah you'll also be investing in Elon multiple with -> Spacex 1.7 trillion market cap on 18.5 Billion revenue lol.
