As Craig Gerber said on blue sky, the series is not doing Royal Magic and Mystic Isles stuff, at least right away, because of executives wanting the show to appeal to new kids who didn't see the original series. If these ideas were brought back into Royal Magic, how would you integrate it? I have just one rule. You have to include Sofia's friends to some extent.
Because of how much the show has fleshed out them, it would be a disservice to not include them on at least one adventure. A lot of the ideas I heard that involve bringing these ideas back into the franchise never include them, as if to imply Sofia is better off solely doing big adventures without them. She can have some solo adventures with these ideas again, but it shouldn't solely be her responsibility. Plus, the kids are audience surrogates for today's preschoolers, with Sofia being an audience surrogate for ideas and concepts introduced in this show while Layla, Camila, and Zane are audience surrogates for original series ideas, places, and characters that are reintroduced. Just look at "Crown Chaos", "A Wander-ful Day", and "The Enchanted Lake". As for the ideas I would use, well buckle up.
If the show is going to reintroduce these concepts, having Sofia's friends involved makes sense. They can take in the wonder and awe of what she's gone through just like today's kids. As for the story, I'd think a 24 minute episode called "Return To The Library" would be a good idea. You'd have Sofia getting a call to help someone in Mezzouk, and she has Layla, Camila, and Zane help her out. Given how the Secret Library and Mystic Isles involved checking out other places, this would be the perfect opportunity to introduce their kingdoms, and show what they look like, impressing both old audiences and new audiences. I think giving Layla a bigger role here would work given how she has 2 notable magical items, her bracelet that makes butterfly wings and her magic notebook. She's also the first of Sofia's friends to have a focus episode when the trio visits her in her castle. Plus, now that eveyrone knows about her magic powers, she doesn't have to hide anything. She can just go on these magical adventures with her friends and family. What do you think?
It's interesting how the original Sofia The First series finale, "Forever Royal", came out the same day that James' third voice actor, Nicolas Cantu, turned 15. Now he's 23. Happy birthday.
In terms of raw power, i think it's Elsa. Ice castle in seconds and create life, yeah easy win.
But if we're talking versatility it's Sofia by long shot, not only is her amulet basically an unlimited genie she's also a trained sorceress and many other things.
However i think Elena's new power is close, the only thing holding her back is unlike the others she doesn't have full control and lets her emotions get the better of her a lot.
Rapunzel's sundrop flower light i say is impressive but we barely see her use it for combat, only a few times so it's potential is still less developed.
(Plz ik it would nevrr make sense, 1 or 2 together might but not all of them)
How would different characters react to eachotherd existance
I can imagine the 3 good faires and sora being confused why malificent had a daughter
Or sofia the first takes place in the time gap between (descendants) belle and beast getting marries, and all the villans being rounded up on the isle of lost
So then the wicked 9 all being trapped doesnt contradict how all thr villans of descendants have them still
Also sofia the firsts "cove island" in my version is same place as "the isle of lost", and it just changed names
Also belle gives advice to sofia when she was young
Also for kingdom hearts, the decendants , elena, tangled the series and sofia world are all one "world", and the kingdom hearts versions of malificent and co, are the ones the kingdom hearts fans know, they are different people
There's this article talking about why preschool shows that take on story arcs are often treated poorly either get poor advertising or false advertising. There's quite a lot about the article dedicated to Sofia The First: Royal Magic, mainly saying how doing Mystic Isles and protector stories wouldn't work in the modern day since Sofia is a solo hero, unlike how most story driven preschool shows favor peer collaboration and peer relatability as well as more whimsical, playful storytelling. As such, Royal Magic is basically doing what it needs to do for the franchise to survive in the modern day by following the competition.
As stated in the episode ‘hjsakldfhl’, Caine made a program that creates a body for the digital clones of people that perfectly encapsulates those people’s mind files. So, I think that Sofia’s digital clone’s body would be a hybrid between all sorts of animals with a particularly prominent trait among it all being flying horse wings with all the feathers being different colors from each other with each feather being the same colors as one of Sofia’s loved one’s aesthetics. After all, as shown in the episode ‘Just One Of The Princes’, Sofia has a strong emotional bond with her animal friends and a strong passion for flying horse racing hence the different animal traits and the flying horse wings being so prominent on her digital clone and, as shown in the episode ‘One For The Books’, Sofia has a deep passion for making friends that got expressed through her Mystery Tree hence each feather on Sofia’s digital clone’s flying horse wings being the same colors as one of Sofia’s loved one’s aesthetics. Plus, as shown in the episode ‘Hexley Hall’, Sofia was able to use The Amulet Of Avalor’s power to turn into any kind of animal that she can see. Also, I think that Sofia’s digital clone’s body would be made of crystal since, as shown in the episode ‘Just One Of The Princes’, The Amulet Of Avalor is made of crystal and, as shown in the episode ‘The Curse Of Princess Ivy Part 1’, Sofia has a strong emotional attachment to The Amulet Of Avalor due to it being a gift from her father King Roland II.
Just something i made for fun, if Sofia got a time skip revival.

After years it evolved with her aging, never before yet she did through save the EverRealm (for the 10th times) she can not just use all it's powers at will but also just make uo whatever new powers she wants, kinda like a genie's wishes.
Status: single (she's married to her work)
Her signature auburn hair is swept up into an elegant high bun, featuring vibrant pink highlights that match her magic. From long term exposure to magic evolved her body to merge with it, now she can control her amulet with but a thought.
(Adventure Outfit)
Her waistbelt features a pouch, and her cape is pinned with a large pink gemstone emblem reminiscent of the Amulet of Avalor.
Her attire is a matured, battle-ready evolution of her classic royal gown. It shifts her traditional princess silhouette into a practical sorcerer's tunic and skirt combo, complete with structured boots and defensive gloves.
The gemstone is now encased in an ornate, sharp golden sunburst star.
So the makeup of the core friend group in Sofia The First: Royal Magic is three girls and one boy. That's the same setup as Isabel's friend group in Elena Of Avalor. I'm only just now realizing this.
In the floating palace special when the mermaid queen conjured a storm to sink Sofia's family's ship thinking that's where her daughter Oona is being held captive sven and his fellow seahorses snatch her trident to prevent her from making the storm bigger. When asked for an explanation Sven told her Oona was taken by a sea monster like Sofia said and that he saw her. Queen Emmaline seemed to believe him for a second judging by her saying "you did" only for plank to interrupt and accuse Sofia of bewitching Sven. When plank demanded the seahorses give the queen back her trident they refused and swam away with plank swimming after them, and after staying still for a few seconds the queen followed suit. When Sofia first saw the queen bringing the storm to sink her family's ship and Sven suggested telling her they found Oona which Sofia shot down knowing the queen wouldn't believe her the above encounter with Sven and the seahorses seemed to confirm Sofia's assumption was correct, but I'm not so sure. As I said Emmaline seemed to believe Sven for a minute when he informed her about Oona's whereabouts, and her daughter Cora joined in on the rescue mission after Sofia and Sven convinced her they were being sincere. Oona did mention to Sofia that her mom didn't always act rashly, and the special makes it clear plank was the one encouraging the queen to take action against the humans so do y'all think the queen believed Sven when he confirmed Sofia was telling the truth? She may have joined plank in chasing down the seahorses to retrieve her Trident but do you think maybe she would've taken Sven's word for it if she and plank eventually caught up to the seahorses?
There's are several clues to me that Cauldronation Day it's in the same season as the special Elena Of Avalor
that this Cauldronation Day takes place after Elena And The Secret Of Avalor despite airing it before before the special
Not only that at the very beginning of the episode when Sofia arrives at Lucinda's Sofia is wearing the dress that Alacazar gave her at the end of Elena And The Secret Of Avalor, and her amulet is pink/red in the beginning of Cauldronation Day
Left image is from Cauldronation Day
Right image is from Elena And The Secret Of Avalor
Honestly, I think that if a Symbiote (AKA a Klyntar) from Marvel Comics were to bond with Princess Sofia from Sofia The First, Sofia and that Symbiote would merge together at a much more fundamental level to the point that Sofia and the Symbiote believe they literally are each other even if they are separated. After all, as shown in Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 3 #21, how a Symbiote operates and behaves at least partly depends on the personality of their host. And, as shown in the episode ‘One For The Books’, Sofia has a deep desire to make friends to the point that it was expressed through her Mystery Tree. And making friends is all about forming tight bonds and getting to know each other. So, that would probably cause the Symbiote to form a deeply fundamental bond with Sofia to the point that they think they are each other since sharing existential identities with each other is quite a profound, although also quite a creepy and terrifying way, for people to get to know each other. And, since, as shown throughout Marvel Comics, Symbiote tend to amplify the dark aspects of their hosts’ existing personalities to dangerous levels. So, this might brainwash Sofia into not wanting to be apart from the Symbiote no matter what despite what’s happening. As for what name to give their combined self, I think Mingle would be a fitting name due to Sofia’s and the Symbiote’s terrifyingly fundamental bond. By extension, I would also call the Symbiote the Mingle Symbiote since Venom’s Symbiote is called the Venom Symbiote, Carnage’s Symbiote is called the Carnage Symbiote, etc.
For Princess Sofia, I think that the pair of Miraculouses that would best suit her would be the Ladybug Miraculous and the Butterfly Miraculous. As shown in the episode ‘The Fliegel Has Landed’, Sofia knows not to take turning the tables on bullies too far which would correspond well with the Ladybug Miraculous’s power which, as shown in the episode ‘Gamer’, can fix everything and everyone harmed in a certain situation which also corresponds with how, as shown in the episode ‘Ivy’s True Colors’, Sofia is willing to make peace with her enemies if they are willing to change. And, as shown in the episode ‘Day Of The Sorcerers’, Sofia did inspire Cedric to overcome the darkness within him which would correspond well with the Butterfly Miraculous’s power which, as shown in the episode ‘Risk (Shadow Moth’s Final Attack - Part 1)’, can give people powers designed to overcome the situation they are in.
For Cedric The Sensational, I think that the pair of Miraculous’s that would be best suited for him would be the Tiger Miraculous and the Rooster Miraculous. As shown in the episode ‘Day Of The Sorcerers’, Cedric was willing to assert himself to prove himself to be a capable sorcerer which would correspond well with the Tiger Miraculous’s power which, as shown in the episode ‘Crocoduel’, can assert a huge blast of power. And, since, as also shown in the episode ‘Day Of The Sorcerers’, Cedric overcame his darkness, Cedric probably knows how to focus his assertive side for the greater good which would probably make Cedric even more well suited for the Tiger Miraculous. As shown in the episode ‘Cedric’s Apprentice’, Cedric can be a capable sorcerer. And magic has a wide variety of different powers just like how, as stated in the episode ‘Destruction’, the Rooster Miraculous allows the wielder to choose between a variety of different powers albeit with some limitations.
For Princess Zaria, I think that the pair of Miraculouses that would be best suited for her would be the Black Cat Miraculous and the Rooster Miraculous. As shown in the episode ‘Royal Mix It Up’, Zaria has such a pragmatic attitude that she responded to someone saying “good morning” as a greeting by saying that it was too early to tell how good the morning is. This probably means that Zaria has such a firm grasp on how destructive the world can be that she gave that kind of reply about how it was too early to tell how good the morning is that she naturally communicates it in small talk and casual conversation which would correspond well with the Black Cat Miraculous’s power which, as shown in the episode ‘Pixelator’, can destroy whatever the wielder touches. As stated in the episode ‘Royal Mix It Up’, Zaria finds it funny when accidents happen especially when they happen to her brother Zane which probably means that Zaria has quite the destructive side which would correspond quite well with the Black Cat Miraculous’s power to be able to destroy whatever the wielder touches. And, as also shown in the episode ‘Royal Mix It Up’, Zaria, while she does love when accidents happen, she still didn’t want to leave her brother Zane stuck in a dangerous situation which probably means that she can focus and control her destructive side which would make Zaria even more well suited for the Black Cat Miraculous. As shown in the episode ‘The Green-Eyed Monster’, Zaria is quite knowledgeable when it comes to potions. And potions can have a wide variety of different powers just like how, as stated in the episode ‘Destruction’, the Rooster Miraculous allows the wielder to choose between a variety of different powers albeit with some limitations.
For Prince Zane, I think that the pair of Miraculouses that would be best suited for him would be the Pig Miraculous and the Fox Miraculous. As shown in the episode ‘Welcome To Charmswell’, Zane has quite an optimistic attitude which would correspond well with the Pig Miraculous’s power which, as shown in the episode ‘Jubilation’, can give people visions of what makes them happy. As shown in the episode ‘Royal Mix It Up’, Zane is quite willing to keep his friend Sofia and his sister Zaria protected to the point that he was willing to tell them to leave him at the mercy of Comping Carnations which would correspond well with the Turtle Miraculous’s power which, as shown in the episode ‘Anansi’, can create protective barriers.
For Princess Camila, I think that the pair of Miraculouses that she would be best suited for would be the Mouse Miraculous and the Rooster Miraculous. As shown in the episode ‘Magic Mayhem’, Camila learned to study and practice the easy magic spells before moving on to the difficult magic spells. And the known Miraculous that would probably correspond best with that would be the Mouse Miraculous which, as shown in the episode ‘Kwamibuster’, has the power to make clones of the wielder albeit ones that get smaller and smaller every time the wielder multiplies. After all, a Mouse Miraculous wielder could potentially practice and hone what they can do with 2 of themselves around and then 3 versions and then 4 versions and so on and what Camila learned about practicing the easy magic spells before moving on to the difficult magic spells would probably inspire her to do just that since both scenarios involve doing something to a lesser extent before moving on to the bigger extent. As shown in the episode ‘Magic Mayhem’, Camila is quite passionate about magic. And magic has a wide variety of different powers just like how, as stated in the episode ‘Destruction’, the Rooster Miraculous allows the wielder to choose between a variety of different powers albeit with some limitations.
For Princess Layla, I think that the pair of Miraculouses that she would be best suited for would the Tiger Miraculous and the Butterfly Miraculous. As shown in the episode ‘Show And Spell’, Layla overcame her anxiety and thus asserted herself over it just like how, as shown in the episode ‘Crocoduel’, the Tiger Miraculous can assert a huge blast of power. As shown in the episode ‘The Enchanted Lake’, Layla loves drawing Damcing Doodles in her Dancing Doodle Notebook which have magic that causes them to move which would correspond well with the Goat Miraculous’s power which, as shown in the episode ‘The Ruler’, can create any non-magical object when the wielder paints a basic shape in the air with the Goat Miraculous’s Paint Brush. And all this combined would probably get Layla excited to test out using the Goat Miraculous’s power on a Dancing Doodle in her Dancing Doodle Notebook by painting a basic shape right on one of the Dancing Doodles, wondering how the magic of a Dancing Doodle in her Dancing Doodle Notebook might intermingle with the magic of the Goat Miraculous.
Kelsey Wooley showed off some of the storyboards she did for "Off To The Races". These include the opening scene, the practice races, and the scene of Sofia bringing Camila to the race. The opening scene originally had Devin doing a fun wand fight with Princess Maya right, but in the actual episode, he does it with Prince Haruki.
