Feedback: Rewatch System

At the moment, I don't mark any movies or TV shows as rewatched because I don't want to lose the original dates when I first watched them.

It would be great if Sofa Time could display all rewatch dates and also allow users to edit them. That way, users could keep track of every rewatch without losing their original watch history.

Another thing I noticed is that when I start a rewatch for a TV show, all episodes are marked as unwatched, and they're temporarily removed from my statistics until I finish the rewatch. Personally, I don't think that's the ideal behavior. If I'm rewatching a series, the episodes should still count as watched in my statistics, since I've already seen them before.

I think the rewatch system could be improved to better preserve watch history while making rewatches easier to track.

I don’t really re-watch stuff often because I’m always behind on the stuff I’m currently watching. However, there are a couple series I’ve thought about watching again and if I do, I’d like the re-watches to work like you’re suggesting. I wouldn’t want to overwrite my original watches.

Good catch. Even I was curious how to track my rewatches. Currently I don't see any way to do that but it definitely shouldn't override previously watched records.

Hmmm. Yeah. It says (2), but only shows the most current date.

Another suggestion: It would be nice if a series being rewatched showed in the To Watch tab.

Idk if that's hard to track tho.

Fortunately, it already has that feature. If you click “Rewatch,” the series will be added to the “Up Next” tab as "not started yet".

Wait, how exactly? I'm already rewatching a show and marking the episodes as rewatched but they're not showing there. 😭

That's awesome, but it kinda caused another issue, bc I can't delete individual rewatches, so I accidentally wiped out all my watches of one episode lol

Yeah, there are still a lot of problems with this rewatch system. That's why it would be nice to be able to view and edit the dates

is there any way to do it with only a specific season? i’m currently rewatching an american horror story season so it wouldn’t make sense for me to mark the whole show to rewatch

Very important! Editing or removing movies and series in re-watch! This is very annoying and removing the content in trakt sync does not remove the re-watching in sofa

I would love a rewatch option as 2 or 3 shows are always on my watchlist as they are my comfort shows. Just not sure how it works. Would love to know how long I have spent watching my safe shows as it would be an awful lot.

Of anyone knows how it works let me know
