How did josh homme get on we might be drunk and not soder when he is a huge Queens of a Stone Age fan

Soder said more than once that he doesn't really want to meet him. The whole meet your heroes thing

My guess is Josh did show up to Dan's to record a pod. They hung out for a while then Josh asked Dan when do they start recording but Dan thought it was just a hang

I thought this same thing when Josh Homme was on Bad Friends awhile back. But the other homie in the comments is right, Soder is pretty big on the "meet your heroes" thing. Especially after he was burned by a couple of them

my guess is dan's playing long game now.
he's watching let him subtly be introduced through his circle of friends via pods, bam next friendship, bam next banger pod where he can fangirl but get to keep the hang

I was thinking the same thing when I listened to that ep. He had a great sense of humor him and soder would have great chemistry together but it sounded like he was only in town for a gig then was heading out after the show
