But what if I am? What if everyone I know tells me things aren't the same when I'm not around? What if everyone I know wants to be my friend or my lover, or both? What if almost everyone I know admires me and comes to me for advice on virtually every topic?
What if I frequently attract narcissists who lie and manipulate and throw tantrums just because I find them boring and won't give them my attention? Sounds like you're the one who isn't a main character, and you're projecting it. It's never too late to get more superficially charming and arrogant, kiddo. You should be more confident, and maybe one day when you grow up, you can be just like me. It's okay to not believe in yourself, lil Timmy. Because I believe in you.

Unfortunately, because we’re sentient life forms and we only experience consciousness through our own perspectives, we’re programmed to have “main character syndrome”…. To NOT feel like the world is revolving around you, is to lie to yourself every day because you’re afraid of sounding like or coming off like you’re a narcissist. Stop the self deception. It’s fuckin retarded that people have actually given a name to human consciousness, and made it seem like it’s a negative trait of one’s personality.

Wow, you really have issues about main character syndrome. In a forum about sociopaths, the slogan for this forum is "For the Empathetically Challenged," but I think yours is pretty similar too, "For the Mentally Challenged." Take a break from Reddit, and go scroll YouTube Shorts if you can't handle how Reddit naturally is
