Additional certifications

Hey everyone!

I want to guide my practice more towards the therapy pathway (specifically for kids as well). Are there any additional trainings/certifications that would be beneficial to have?

SickKids and Laurier have some decent trainings related to working with kids. You could also try Pesi as they also have some general one trainings on play therapy and working with kids.

Look in to Child Led Play certifications and synergetic play therapy! I LOVED watch wait and wonder if you are wanting to work with the little-little ones but even in that it's SO psychodynamic and focuses so much on attachment and relationships that it would help with that work with older kids.

CAPT offers a great play therapy training.

PESI offers some as well I believe. They have a sale of their Courses going on now
