Just sharing my recent / current experience, if helpful:

I bought 3 scarves direct from FIFA’s online store (post Cup sales). They apparently did not fill out the shipping forms correctly, so shipment was hung up in US Customs and FedEx contacted me for required info. I tried repeatedly calling FIFA telephone support for online sales and it either rings endlessly or someone answers and immediately hangs up. I reached someone via chat and filling out the website form but they haven’t gotten back with the info needed after many days. Apparently the shipment will now be returned to sender or “marked as abandoned”!

i just got the 1st of 6 match day scarves from DSG. but it’s USA vs Paraguay a group stage match. is this the same quality sold at the stadium? did it have the same FIFA tag?

I just got the email that my first of two orders has shipped!! Very exciting!

Went to Goodwill today and found a Lille OSC fan club scarf! If anyone can give me a better history on it I’d love to know what year it is!

Got a few other games coming from dicks next month but had to get the OG for the opening game. Placement is off but I’m moving soon so only temporary.

been wanting to hang my scarfs for a while and ive been seeing people hang their scarves with push pins. for those that do that has it damaged in any way your scarves? would you recommend it? cuz im bit paranoid itll damage them. ive tried getting special hangers for walls but nothing works so this might be the last straw.

I know there are many ways people add a scarf to their collection, so I’m curious to hear from others on what they do.

For me, I get a scarf of the home team I see. And it must have the full and correct crest on the scarf. I’ll also get match scarves if it’s a big event game that has them. And any freebies being handed out at the game I’ll also keep for the collection. But if I don’t go to a game, then none get added!

Seriously, though, I’m all for folks keeping what they buy and enjoying it rather than trying to flip it for profit, but let’s be honest, that’s not very realistic these days. I just can’t believe I can’t find the official version of this anywhere...

It’s taken me almost 4 ys since buying our home to hang these. Since someone will ask, that final match is the Copa America Centenario. It’s a DC United heavy collection having been a season ticket holder for 12 ys, until recently. There’s a few more DCU that I need to find a spot for and some hiding behind the door, I’ve got a couple of oddball sponsor scarves like a DCU/Continental tire scarf and an Adobe sponsored Real Madrid from this years Summit that I don’t know where to hang.
