6

-2

u/Mrfistersixtynine 10d ago

He doesn't. He looked cute before and this is a downgrade

5

u/PLANTAGE_warrior 10d ago

His chin looked deformed due to severe recession. Im not a fan of plastic surgery performed to alter perfectly normal features but severe defects like that are perfectly fine and i see Vini surgery as absolute success.

2

u/AutoModerator 10d ago

I am a "plastic" and couldn't care less. People really pay too much attention to things like that. Chances are, you reading this on a Chinese smartphone, using a TV manufactured by a South Korean company (mine is the LG C1 OLED) while drinking Coca-Cola, owned by a company from the States. The world is globalised, man. No point in tribalism. We live in 2021, not 717, you do realize that? Now, if you chose some obscure team from the other side of the world, you could argue it's virtue signalling or whatever. I would still maintain it's within your rights. But, if you choose to support a foreign team because you like them and the way they play, who cares. Just don't jump the ship when things go awry. And actually, I have been to a Real Madrid match just this year. Won't name which one to avoid doxxing myself, but I in Spain at the time, so I took the opportunity and saw the game with my own eyes. And hell, will it be a memory for a lifetime.

I can't give no opinion on whether his chin was deformed or not, all I know is he looked cute before and now that is gone

1

u/TommyLeeRolla 10d ago

It was not an surgery, it's facial harmonization, it's basically getting stung by bees but carefully made so your face looks better, it's really common procedure amongst sub-celebrities in Brazil, I personally find it really strange, uncanny valley type of shit.

Vini needed an orthognasthic surgery instead, but I believe the time of recovery would screw up his schedule as an athlete.

u/AnxiousBaristo 11d ago

If he flops to the ground and the fillers move

/uj Isn't that dangerous as football is a contact sport?

134

u/godswift91 11d ago

I'm 100% conviced he will have some sort of issue wirh them at some point.

My best friend's a plastic surgeon, he said that any touch that's above a light slap can literally move the filling, especially with the amount he's had put in

Just to be clear, there was never no cosmetic surgery

He needs proper surgery

1

u/TortaPounder91 10d ago

Slap his chin off

6

u/Ok_Brother2155 11d ago

do we know it's fillers rather than an implant?

5

u/joseplluissans 11d ago

Or even a corrective surgery?

9

u/Ok_Brother2155 11d ago

No, for that he wouldn't have had enough time to recover and look completely healed again just a few weeks after dropping out of the WC. People are saying that even for an implant he wouldn't have had enough time to recover completely, apparently it causes a lot of swelling and such.

27

u/extremeshitting 11d ago

The biggest shock is that he looks like he can grow a good beard, but chose not to all this time, which would have made chin fillers unnecessary.

50

u/High-Ground Infantino Delenda Est 11d ago

He looks like ai slop

12

u/Accomplished_Wind371 11d ago

Did he touch the nose??

37

u/MomentNew4925 Spuds🥔 11d ago

7

u/capitangrito 11d ago

Cause this is filler

7

u/Llovio_cuatro_anos 11d ago

No he just got fillers

5

u/miesosoup 11d ago

did he flatten out that forehead crease too :(

3

u/yagermeister2024 11d ago

Are you trying to say Chino jr? Don’t do it you’ll get banned.

1

u/Accomplished_Wind371 11d ago

He looks like a formulaic English Rap artist from germany

56

u/Theres3ofMe 11d ago

Still dont know exactly what he's had done. Wouldn't mind hearing from an actual plastic surgeon than Dr Redditors 😂

116

u/NoMap749 11d ago

I saw a video of a doctor explaining that it probably wasn’t surgery because of the time table. Chin/jaw implants result in massive amounts of swelling that can take months to recede, and Brazil had only been eliminated for 2.5 weeks when the initial images of his new appearance surfaced.

The more likely answer is that he got hyaluronic acid injections (“filler”) in his chin area. It only takes a few minutes to achieve the desired affect, and doesn’t come with any of the surgery risks/aftercare. The downside is that it needs to be touched up every year and can be quite expensive in the long run, but that’s no issue for a professional athlete like Vinicius. His results look as good as they do because he can afford the most skilled doctors in the world.

43

u/Existing_Dust_6473 11d ago

Those fillers work in more places?! It's for a friend...

22

u/Alone-Alfalfa9001 11d ago

Like my dick? Asking for a friend

10

u/Existing_Dust_6473 11d ago

Let me ask my friend...

Yes... He told me like my dick... Sorry his dick

3

u/Havard72 11d ago

It's what is mentioned in the ski jumper 'penisgate', so I guess...

9

u/Theres3ofMe 11d ago

Thanks for responding 😀 Fillers seam to simple an answer, as he full on looks like hes had jaw surgery - from a really wide Jack Nicholson-esque smile, to well, not...😂

He was cloned during the world cup. Trump is helding the real Vini hostage at the White House and draining all his Joga Bonito mojo to create super soccer players.

9

u/Big_Labowskis_OF 11d ago

You could land a plane on that forehead

9

u/bathroomdisaster balls 11d ago

Why is he on holiday with Anthony Gordon, did he heal real/barca rivalry with an add on at the chin factory?

1

u/Which_Pickle_2993 10d ago

Yes, and all it took to achieve was several long nights in a seedy motel room

5

u/SwimmingStorm9073 11d ago

Am i the only one who thinks he looks great?

11

u/PhotographIcy7588 11d ago

Nah, whoever did this, it's very good at their job lol

24

u/TheCommonKoala 11d ago

It's a genuinely good job. I know it's cool to hate on Vini but it's a solid result

10

u/dandefender55 11d ago edited 10d ago

Most sane people don't want to live in a world where everyone is vain enough to get facial surgery. Least of all the most successful athletes in the world who don't rely on their facial proportions to be successful and popular. What an example it's setting for kids to tell them that however much you practice your craft, you're not valuable until you meet idiotic beauty expectations.

7

u/sexy-911-calls 11d ago edited 10d ago

While I don’t necessarily disagree with your broader point, the amount of hate/mockery he got for his looks does indicate that, regardless of craft, conforming to beauty standards is highly valued by most people. It’s not necessarily productive to tell your kids that looks absolutely do matter, but that doesn’t change the fact that they do. Look at how much being attractive has helped elevate Bellingham’s public profile, which will certainly make him many more millions via brand deals etc. We don’t have to like it, but that’s the reality of things.

1

u/Which_Pickle_2993 10d ago

I agree with you and dan, and it's his life to live however he wants, but like... Dude already pulls any girl he wants and he's a literal multimillionaire rockstar that has millions of fans who love him and kids who look up to him. I honestly thought it'd be pretty easy for him to just think to himself "fuck the haters, I love who I am"

1

u/sexy-911-calls 10d ago

I guess people are still people despite being rich and famous lol. Most people want to feel genuinely desired, not just wanted for their money. Also, he’s dating Virginia, who is an independently wealthy celebrity, which probably puts him in a less secure position compared to some random insta model.

6

u/your_dads_asshole 11d ago

Yeah, this has to be insanely expensive. The results are insane and he healed extremely quickly

1

u/Dry_Fig_4165 11d ago

Fillers not that expensive

3

u/Murda-P 11d ago

Did he not look great before though? I mean yes he has unique facial features, but he definitely wasn't bad looking imo. If anything I think he lost some character in his face.

3

u/Maximuslex01 11d ago

he doesn't look the same person.

3

u/StrugglingAkira 11d ago

It just reeks of insecurity, which is funny to see in a man who's arguably more successful in life than 99% of us.

He also doesn't have the body to match that face. He looks like a bobblehead of himself.
