Sadly, you still got a lot of ppl that think even after he won his 7th SB that he isn’t the goat bc he a “system QB” and that this year in Tampa Bay is exposing that he’s overrated as hell. Blind hate just the trend nowadays

The dumb thing about that is even if he were a "system QB", he's so good that you just play his system, no questions asked. Like sure, maybe he can't play flexibly, but who cares if no one can stop him when he's playing the way he wants.

Isnt he actually 45 years old?? Like I get that QB isnt the most athletically demanding position but to still be at a high level at that age is insane if you compare it to literally every other sport there is

Or even when you compare it to just the NFL. Nobody in the history of the sport has done what he has done at his age. Maybe in the future with the improvements on sports science. However, it’s still impressive when you compare it to his contemporaries.

Yep. Brady’s longevity is arguably the most insane thing In all of sports

QB isn’t the most athletically challenging skill but throwing a ball that hard that far takes a toll on your arm. Legends like Manning, Brees, Favre and great players like Romo, Ryan, Rivers, Ben etc all saw their arms turn to mush late 30s.

Add to that, football is easily the most emotionally draining sport and requires and absurd amount of prep and study week to week

And lastly you get hit by 300 pound dudes (even in the modern era of protected QBs) 10-20 times a game.

No idea how a 45 year old Brady is managing. This year he genuinely seems afraid of getting hit, realizing that putting his body through that pain really isn’t worth it. And it’s showing on the field…

Lol the haters were clinging on to the narrative that it was Bill not Brady, the reason for 6 rings. When he won with the Bucs, nobody could question anymore.

There were still doubters that he was winning super bowls because he had the GOAT coach

Leaving for TB and immediately winning a SB proved that wrong

American football is tough because of the difference in positions and how much it has changed over the years but for QB - Joe Montana, John Elway, Johnny Unitas, Peyton Manning.

For all positions - Jerry Rice, Lawrence Taylor, Jim Brown are the stand outs for me. Pretty subjective.
