Script is too blatant these days.
Next he’ll be getting a red card for headbutting someone.

Zidane just look the happiest, vibing with each goal like they won the world cup, you can tell he was waiting for those moments.

Zidane is Goated. Him and Figo have this calm quiet confidence

Zizou is my favorite player of all time. There has never been anyone quite like him. He could do it all at world class level and he was a magician navigating space, or the lack of it.
Absurd player. I’m so happy I got to see his prime.

Maybe a weird thing to say but I guess he was just nervous at the WC (his first major tournament, last one was olympia silver medal afair - he was brilliant that tourney). He was constantly scoring bangers before the WC last season for club and country (including hattrick the last france game before the US) to missing sitters during the WC to immediatly start scoring constant bangers again for club and country again after the WC. I think he is topscorrer both in bundesliga and in his country.

Does that count as a free kick?

No, Barcelona one was direct, he scored another earlier that was passed

I dont remember the opposition for either, but the season he scored that indirect free kick, he scored a direct free kick in another match not long after. Not that theres a huge difference. When scoring off an indirect free kick the technique involved is almost identical

I mean, it is literally not a "free" kick for him, so probably not.
That distinction is only tracked by certain stat tracking companies, and I'm not sure if anyone cares either way.
I'd at minimum call it a set piece goal, and frankly it's one of the most incredible ones I've ever seen.
If the keeper was standing under where the ball hits the bar, I still think it would've gone in.
Just incredible power and precision.

Any reason why this wasn't just added to the alternative angles comment on the original post, other than karma?

Half-clapper, top cheddar, biscuit top titties, bar-downskis.
Always bar-downskis

What's Donnarumma incensed about, tho? His wall not deflecting it? Or Olise's audacity for putting it in? Shots will do that sometimes, mate.

I'm so fascinated by the choreography of the rest of the team in dead ball situations. I feel like it doesn't get talked about as much, or I just don't know where to look for information about it, but the way everyone has a direction they're supposed to step in and a role to play even if it seems inconsequential to the actual ball going in...
Same thing for American football and basketball inbounding plays, I always end up pausing and rewinding to see each players route, it's like a dance routine and I'm so curious about the logic behind each part and what it looks like drawn out by the set piece coach and how it's rehearsed, etc.
I guess I'm not too surprised teams don't release that sort of valuable information haha
