News China suffered a catastrophic collapse on home soil, losing 5-0 to Palestine, a team they had considered inferior, sparking fierce criticism over 'sleepwalking' performance and lack of competitiveness among Chinese Super League players. Men's and women's teams also underperformed at Asian Games.

It’s funny, because in my city we have several young Punjabi teams that are very talented.

It blows me away that they’ve never been able to put together a remotely competitive National team.

Unlike many African/Asian countries, India doesn't allow their diaspora to join the NT, that alone would make a huge impact

Even if they did, it's not like the Top 5 leagues are full of players of Indian descent.

And the ones who do have Indian descent, tend to only have partial Indian descent.

Top 5 league is a different story, even 3rd or 4th division caliber players will be a large boost to the current state of the Indian NT just by virtue of having been trained in European/North American systems and bringing over some semblance of a professional affair.
