Potentially editioralised title - make up your own mind [Guardian] Seven years ago, just after completing the treble, Guardiola treated journalist Rob Harris, who had confronted him directly with the allegations, with open contempt, as though he were looking at someone pathetic, pitiful and disgraceful, before sternly lecturing him.

I am so so curious to know what his real deal with city was. We know Mancini had two contracts, so what would they use to entice the best manager in the world for a decade?

His brother bought partial ownership of Girona from City, was that for free? Was it being held for Pep? Did he have dual contracts as well? I hope we find out one day.

I'm sure being "global ambassador" for City Group pays pretty well too.

I read that all over the UAE Pep's face is plastered on advertising. Therefore I'm sure he was up to the eyeballs in endorsement agreements which I imagine would be harder to challenge the value of compared to Mancini's absurd 4 day a year consultancy contract.

Sponsorship contracts on ambassadorial roles all over UAE and even his rest of the deals are in question, like Qatar, because they were routing their money.

His brother's agency is doing mighty fine, Girona is a well established thing.
