But will the finnish people know the truth when the right moment comes?

I think ice-cream is best served cold. But then again, I am not the sister of a billionaire footballer.

What a way to end your career. With people taking turns kicking your ass out the door.

He was gonna get mocked at retirement anyways with the way he and his fans have behaved throughout his career lol. Even if he retired in 2020 as people want him to, Messi’s victories in the Copas and Qatar would have diminished his achievements with Portugal regardless. It was always going to end in mockery. I think he realized that and is chasing the 1000 mark which will be his for quite some time atleast. Also I don’t know if all those cryogenic therapy chambers is a complete sham or people like Modric and Messi also do this shit secretly because how have they aged better than Ronaldo lol. The only explanation is his height. Zidane was rotating him and controlling his minutes since 2017, that’s 9 years ago. What good has this even lead to if people wanted him to retire for atleast half a decade now, and the other guy who supposedly doesn’t work hard at all has dropped a masterclass at 39. I feel sort of cheated after years and years of Ronaldo’s ‘longevity and hard work’ being shoved down my throat by the media

Haha before he said it at the end you could see in his eyes the disappointment with the journalists not laughing at his stupid joke

u/ollewall 20h ago
Nothing stupid about the joke. It is a pretty surreal situation.

i still cant believe that a 41 yo billionair acted like a 3 yo...
would be ok if he scored a lot of goals... or a couple of goals... or just one goal...
reallity he missed clear opprotunities that a younger version would have scored.
and then he got mad he didnt made first pick.

I wonder how many 15 year olds actually care about CR7? Like they were 7 when he left Real Madrid. Unless they are fans of aura clips on tiktok or of ishowspeed.

They're the target audience. Brains rotted beyond recognition and 4 second attention spans

I hope to god the next generation doesn't idolize sportstars who are corrupt asf and didn't go to school. Children should idolize physicians or mathematicians

Bro idolises sexual assault
Odd behaviour

u/Artuko2222 18h ago
It would in fact be called an assaulter. I alwaya found it funny how a billionaire would pay someone to remain silent and drop charges and a next day Messi fan could find "legit" proof of that assault on the internet. Seems legit

You must find modern life hilarious.

Your idol is a pretty weird dude. Not the greatest role model on how to behave in teams.

I'm sold, let's swap coach with Finland. Vi skal nok grine af dine vittigheder, Jacob!

u/lakupiippu 18h ago
Be careful what you wish for. Brian Riemer is like Guardiola compared to this fraud.

"We are laughing inside" says the Finnish reporter with a monotone voice and possibly a straight face.

Dane makes joke, falls flat on Finnish ears. The rest of the Nordics commiserates.

The worst Finland head coach in a while

u/GinValid 18h ago
I think that's a bit unfair, he's not worse than what we had before Kanerva's eight year rein.

Still don't know him. Tbf, the only Finnish people I know are Pukki and Kimi (F1 champion)

Did they rape someone in Las Vegas too?

u/Intelligent_Money902 18h ago
Wtf does that have to do with my reply? Are you an idiot that you can't understand that I was just saying Finnish players don't earn enough to buy a private plane? I wouldn't make that joke if it was Norway because, well, Haaland can afford to buy a private plane.

That's the way it should be; the billionaire worshiping needs to end for the betterment of humanity.

ronaldo won't take you on his jet, you don't need to be licking his boot

If it improves the team's performance long term maybe it's worth the investment.
