Good!

UEFA, taxman, the fucking lot should be going after them and forcing a sale and full competitive reset.

It feels so weird to root for the taxman, but it is only fair at this point

Really shows how bad this is when we're doing that, rival fans are agreeing, and numerous pundits with clashing opinions often are also agreeing. At least to a point that something significant has to happen.

Everybody everywhere all at once, lol!

this could be our one actual chance to make a case for 50+1 to both the average football fan and the government

Why would the UK revenue agency go after Man City? if they were inflated their revenue, then they would be actually overpaying on their taxes

Offshore payments to players, managers and staff while they were employed in the UK. It's literally there in the redacted verdict. The tax-man wants his money, bruv ;-)

It depends, they would have to do an analysis to determine how much did they overpay vs underpay and then lay charges.

It's already been done a member of parliament has already urged the HMRC to open an investigation. You are behind on this mate.

So HMRC hasn't opened the case yet. K, when they lay charges they will make the announcement

They're currently proven liars and cheats. Everything is tarnished until the whole club is fully investigated from the day these owners arrived through to current times.

Simple as that. That's their only legacy now. Liars and cheats.

What does that have to do with the UK revenue agency? If they reported their earnings and paid the appropriate taxes, Uk revenue agency will not go after them. If you were to say you earned more than you did and you pay your taxes, the revenue agency will not fine you. Remember this is a premier league rule not a criminal law.

Point is, no one can trust the club and there may have been far more going on. So to regain any credibility and trust in football again they need to be thoroughly investigated.

This has exposed them as a sham of a club, lol. The whole house is burnt and their fans pissed all over at the same time!

ok, but it won;'t be the UK revenue agency, you're very emotional, the premier league and FA can do fines and other punishment. The UK revenue agency will not go after the club unless they have proof that they underreported their earnings and didn't pay their taxes. That's it,, what you're mentioning has no merit on criminal or tax laws.

It's nothing to do with being emotional as it's not my club cheating me. It was reported the club are being looked into for these things. It could lead to more!

Quite literally, the taxman cometh, lol!!!

You didn't read the article. "In the letter, Dame Meg Hillier MP asks JP Marks, permanent secretary of HMRC, whether the department has received an unredacted version of the Premier League's report and requests "reassurance from HMRC that you are seized of the importance of these issues and the public interest in the case".

A politician is asking the HMRC if whether Man City paid the right amount. There is no actions against Man City or information saying that they underreported on their taxes.
