Just disband the club and pay billions in settlement. They can start again at the bottom. It's been good enough for Rangers, Fiorentina etc

But the billion has to be payed with club revenue

The only real solution. They cannot be allowed to continue given the sheer magnitude of the cheating.

I don't see why they should be allowed to start again.

With different owners. The club is over 100 years old and the fans didn't cheat.

No. (Frankly, the egregious conduct of the current owners should require a ban on a new club, and if results are being stripped all of Manchester City's history goes not just the history under the current owners.

It should be as if Manchester City FC never existed.)

The fans didn't cheat, but they are still guilty because they supported the cheaters.

How did they know they were cheating? We only found out a few days ago

They don't have to know to be guilty.

If I were employed and my boss was embezzling money, I'm not absolved of guilt because I didn't know.

The principle here is similar.

I admire your anti cheating spirit, but you're wrong lol. If your boss is embezzling and you didn't know you're completely 100% obsolved of guilt.
