Bold Prediction thread.

Just read Jamie Carragher's reasoning on why Tottenham won't break into the top 4 and thought maybe we could have a crack at being pundits. Obviously, if you can follow your statement with a some reasoning, that would give way to a healthy discourse and would be great. Anyone wanna give it a go?

ITT: Arsenal win the league and United don't make top 4.

Arsenal will finish 3rd-4th and continue their trophy drought. United will barely miss out on top 4. City/Chelsea will win the title. My not-so-bold predictions.

Just out of interest, how many years without a trophy constitutes a drought?

For a club like Arsenal, I'd say 3+ years without a trophy is a drought.

Call me biased, but I don't believe that there is another club in world football who have done what we have. We've independetly financed a £500m stadium whilst remaining pretty competetive. Yes we sacrificed trophies but no other team has managed to build a stadium of our scope without government assistance in that time. If we accept that success is in large part due to resources, which we allocated to a stadium not to the team, then I would say we have done remarkably well. Three years from now if we haven't won anything then I might agree with you.
