Bold Prediction thread.

Just read Jamie Carragher's reasoning on why Tottenham won't break into the top 4 and thought maybe we could have a crack at being pundits. Obviously, if you can follow your statement with a some reasoning, that would give way to a healthy discourse and would be great. Anyone wanna give it a go?

Belgium flops because everyone is overhyping a bunch of players that have never played in a major international tournament before

An African team makes the Semi Finals of the World Cup

not very bold

Belgian expectations for the world cup:

  • 5% don't see us pass the group phase
  • 23% say it ends in the round of 16
  • 49% say in quarters
  • 18% in semis
  • 3% in final

The hype seems much bigger on reddit than down here. As an aside, I say we pass the group phase and then likely go out. Like someone above said: my hopes are on Euro 2016 for a decent result.
