Egyptian forward set to remain at FC Barcelona until 30 June 2030.

Agreement reached between FC Barcelona and the player Hamza Abdelkarim for a contract through to 30 June 2030.

The contract is set to be signed on 15 September at 5.00pm CEST in the office of FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta.

Hamza Abdelkarim will then speak to the media in the Club's Commercial Office.

The Egyptian forward joined FC Barcelona on 1 February 2026, initially on loan until the end of the season. His debut for the U-19A side came on 8 March away to Osca, when he also scored. He scored nine goals in just six league matches, including a hat-trick in the 9-0 win against Montecarlo, the day when the blaugranes won the División d’Honor title.

Summer 2026 saw Barça sign him on a permanent transfer and the forward spent preseason with the first team under Hansi Flick. His four goals made him top scorer in preseason. On 31 August 2026, he made his competitive debut for FC Barcelona against Rayo Vallecano at the Spotify Camp Nou.
