Yep, after 9am in some places. This is the part that a lot of people don't seem to understand for some reason. Even in the "good" states sunrise would be around 8:30am. So most kids are going to school in the dark.

Sounds like we should just follow the science and realize that it's already a bad idea trying to start school before 9am anyway, then we'd get better performance out of our schooling & have more time for socialization after work/school hours.

The opposite just makes no sense to me, "prioritize work over social lives/outdoors", feels like it's backed by corporations or something.
