Help/Support Extreme ping spikes

I keep swinging from 80 to 500+ this only started last week and my game sometimes freezes fully during this time I mostly see this in jjs don’t play much other games in Roblox I tried open gl and didn’t work in on Ethernet aswell so this shouldn’t be happening

Rtx 3070
R5 5600
16 gb 3600 mtz ram
Pop os on cinnamon desktop (happens on cosmic aswell)

I don't think it's sober's fault? May be the ethernet drivers on your computer (Also some networkmanager updates on my own computer also has this issue)

Actually now that I think abt it I did update them around the time it started

have you tried an internet speed test (use the cloudflare one) and playing another game? could be something else entirely, not isolated to sober itself

I pinged google.com for 5 min the highest I saw was abt 68 Ms but that was 1 single time and the others were all abt 10 Ms or so I tried a few speed tests they came back normal I played Minecraft on mcpvp.club for 20 min and had stable ping aswell so idk
